Sun £9.50 confirmation from operator?

I booked my holiday to Playa Montroig in Spain using my priority code a fortnight ago and we are going on 11th April.

I also booked a break to Haven at Lakeland on 10th June.

Has anyone else received their confirmation from the holiday operator yet?

Got my invoice through today asking me to pay the balance of my Sun holiday.

Just a word of warning though, they only give you 7 days from the date of the receipt to pay your balance. They say that they will cancel holidays if balances are not settled within 7 days so don't delay once your invoice arrives. Also, they will charge 2% if you are paying by credit card but balances paid by debit card or cheque are free.

I have just had my invoice through and have found out that the Sun has charged me £30 per person for my 7 night holiday in Italy. (We are a family of four so in my reckoning should have been £19 each = £76) I thought when I paid online that they had included the supplement but it turns out they have charged me £120 for four people as the base price with the supplement still to pay. I queried it with Eurocamp who are providing the holiday and they said it is a 'high season' price the Sun has charged.
I can't find anything about this in the ts and cs and can't ring the helpline until the 28th Feb when it opens. I have emailed but just wondered if anyone else knows about this or has also been charged £30 per person per holiday.

That price is probably right.

There were dates available at £9.50 per person (or £19 for a 7 night holiday) and there were dates available at £15 per person (or £30 for a 7 night holiday). I think the dates at the higher rate were all June and July dates.

If you have booked a 7 night holiday in June or July then £30 per person with be right. Then on top of that you will have the service charge to pay.

Yes, I have had a look in the brochure that came with my priority code letter and from May 30th - July 22nd the holidays are £15 per person for 3 and 4 nights (or £30 for 7 nights).

If you booked online The Sun will have taken payment for the whole of the cost of the holiday then you will receive a bill for the service charge separately (and also any optional insurances/linen/towel hire etc.).

some people on other forums who did the postal method have received theirs,but many others havent

I have until April to pay mine for the holiday in May. It obviously varies as it's the park that invoice you, not The Sun and I've never had as little as 7 days to pay before!

Yes, sorry I should have said that. It is a Eurocamp site in Spain and their terms are obviously different than Haven who give you longer to pay.

What I was trying to get across was that you should make sure you take notice of when the balance needs to be paid, otherwise you can end up losing your holiday altogether.

Anyone waiting for comfirmation for postal applications should check their email boxes.

I got a message this morning saying I have my first choice park:p and 4th choice date.

I only put down May half term and the beginning of the Leicestershire July holiday.(5 dates in total) :j
I sent off my form and 10 tokens on the first available opportunity.
