I am loving this daily thread, it gives me a sense of um um cant think what the word s are sorry but you will all know what i mean i'm sure.Well I am hopeless at remembering everyones names so...... everyone who is or have ppl feeling poorly hope you feel better soon, everyone who has a new job many congrats, all those with problems in your lives hope they get sorted soon and all those with time on their hands today , take it easy and relax.:D Think I have covered everything apologies if not;).My very own flying tinkerbell (dd) was in pain throughout the night because of her wrist, poor thing.Painkillers all the way but have told her not to smack herself in the face with the caste as it will hurt;).She has gone back to school today, for the sympathy I think wonder how long it will be till I get a phone call.Woofers paw if a lot better now, he only limps when people are watching him;):rotfl:.Have finished reading the Cheryl Cole book that my daughter got for xmas, wasnt really impressed if I'm honest but then I did skip a fair few pages.Have sorted the washing and put a load on , only 2 more to go before the uniforms take over the machine.Tea tonight is .....pizza as forgot to take the chicken thighs out of the freezer:o.Going to a baby shower tomorrow afternoon friend is having a little girl after having 4 boys, she will have had the same as me 4 boys then a girl.We have had a friend make up a nappy cake for her and a hamper of goodies that she can enjoy herself.Have a good day everyone .Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0

Thanks uolypool,
reading your thread reminded me to take the chicken breasts out of the freezer. You can't have chicken and steak fajitas with only steak!!! And 3 steaks are not enough to go round 7 hungry people, three of whom will not eat steak!!!!!!!
I agree with you, this old style daily thread fits in with how I want our lives to be, i.e. food made from scratch as far as possible, no food wasted & washing on the line. I draw the line at putting the sheets side to middle as my mum used to do - I always found that seam down the middle of the bed really annoying:) It is porbably not as irritating on a double bed as a single bed!
Good days all, Silver xOutside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

Hello again
just got my first pay slip at my new job, i wasn't expecting much more than enough to cover rent as i've only been here 3 weeks instead of the full month, so the total amount was a lovely surprise!!and i got outstanding holiday pay from my temp job too. so nice little bonus for us
I am going to the supermarket with my mum tomorrow as OH is working so i have no transport, so need to make a list tonight. Shame i don't know which one we will be going to, or i could do it online and price everything up first. I suppose mysupermarket will help me.
Had lunch, work is going wellhad to cancel meeting my friend tomorrow as i don't get paid till monday, but i'm in hermit mode at the moment anyway so i don't mind too much.
will check in and read everyone's posts later

Very cold here this morning, but no frost thankfully, so no need to scrape the car.
The usual chores have been done, DW unloaded, packups made, fish fed & breakfast eaten.
Had a real surpise yesterday, payday, I GOT A PAY RISE, WOO HOO, because I've worked at school for 5 years, I should have got it in September so with the backpay I got an extra £100 in my wages.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

For the meanwhile Friday is still my day off - some MS calls to make this morning and doctors this afternoon for some scan results and hopefully to get weighed.
Still on the healthy eating trek - all though I did have a bottle of wine last night to celebrate

Good Afternoon All. Woke up feeling not right at all - sent text to course tutor, then fell asleep until midday!! Oh well, at least I don't feel tired at the moment! Just cold!
Hester - great news on the payrise. I always liked it when it was late and therefore meant a bigger payment initially!
My day is now completely topsy-turvy. Bless him, DH did the dogs' walk for me, put the DW on and has generally tidied up. Also went shopping, so I don't need to go out until choir tonight.
have a good Friday - what's left of it! Take care.Resolution:

:jThats it , it makes me feel part of a community, am pretty much on my own during the day due to rubbish mobility and constant tiredness and the likes caused by fibro, so popping on here makes me feel like I have lots of ppl who I can "talk" to without being judged. She lasted till just gone 1 o'clock before school phoned me asking if she can come home, I think it may be the shock that is wearing her out and the fact she cant use her beloved straightners.;)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0
