halight, hope the twins are better soon. Really don't want anymore snow either!!
jackieo  i too hope nomore crazy expenses come your way this month, or for a while!

Morning all, I'm huddled in bed trying to wake/warm up. Going to jump in the bathroom before the hot water sucking leeches... er flatmates... get up :p Then walk to the library to get some books for next semester and town to get some stationary bits and pop to boots.
Not much OS going on today, nothing planned for dinner as am being dragged out again/going on a date :o

Ooh! For all those getting friend requests from "aimee", that's me :D

  • Morning all

Chilly here, but lovely and sunny. I'm still feeling a little dizzy when I accidentally tilt my head to left (obviously I'm not doing it on purpose :rotfl:) but feeling better then yesterday.

Today it's my colleague's last day with us. She has been here on a year long secondment. It's very sad as she has fitted in with us from the word go and been a fantastic asset. Also it means I'm left with just the boys again! :(. But we are going for nice lunch, and then out for her leaving do straight from work :D got me dancing shoes ready!

So no OS for me today :o.

JC - congrats on new job!! Although will you miss the view of the cranes from your current workplace?

    Have a fab day all

    Morning all :D,

HH- what a nice surprise :j
RR - having had recent experience visiting Auntie in her nursing home, and she was in the dementia section,I did notice how patient and kind the staff were. That man has no business doing the job if he can't cope with it.Hope something is sorted soon, you really don't need the extra worry.
BB- hope your tum is better soon, and no-one else gets it.
JC - congratulations on the new job
Tiredmum - our dog is full of fatty lumps, the vet measures them whenever we go ,just to keep an eye on them. There are a couple that are getting quite big so she will remove them if he needs anaesthetic for any reason. His breed(mastiff) seem quite prone to them, our previous dog had them too.
Halight- going to be a good lad now eh? On an OS note,I love butternut soup too.I've got one in,so I might roast it for lunchtime.

Need a good tidy up,we're slipping again :D DS2 is back from his hol in Austria tomorrow night. He rang me to say he thinks the camera got pinched, but just to check he hadnt left it at home :(Its the better one of the 2 we have as well

Chicken breasts for tea tonight,in what form I havent decided, apart from it won't be curry as we're going out for one tomorrow with friends.I meant to have them last night but they hadn't defrosted enough,so I made pizza instead, had some bases in.

Hugs to those in need xx

    Mornin' all,
What a lovely surprise Hester, and getting back pay is always great:)
JC well done on getting the job, that's not easy these days.
Congratulations or commiserations as required and all with hugs.
Breakfast cooked for 3 boys, lots of coffees and teas.
DW just finishing, 1 wm load on radiators/ TD, another just finishiing.
I large pot of lentil soup made with the bacon water and left over cabbage & potatoes.
Lunch will be moussaka from the freezer and dinner will be steak & chicken fajitas. Made my own fajita mix as our favourite brand has started to get difficult to find. Wonder what the boys will make of it;) Hope it is as good as the mix they're used to. If they like it, it will be cheaper and much easier to source (from my spice & herb collection:))
Hope everyone has a good Friday, Silver x

    Morning folks long time no-see
I have been ill on and off since september with various things plus the hospital keep messing with my arthritis meds so not too good at all, so although I read everyday I feel a fraud posting as I don't do as much os as I did but ds1 does a lot of it now ( he is currently defrosting the freezer) then we will sort out the meals for the next few days.
I am hoping to get some baking done today and tomorrow as the tins are bare
got to get a docs appointment this afternoon to see if we can work out the next move
I hope everyone gets well soon and anyone with troubles get them sorted (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))) to all
    Pam x
