Morning everyone! Sounds like everyone is going to be busy today. Hope you all get done the tasks you need to get done today!
Usual housework chores are done.. All before OH got up may I add!
I do need to go out and sort our bank account out ready for OH impending BR appt on Monday.
I will be making my first baby steps into old style saving today when I do our shopping list. I plan on making a weeks worth of meals. Not sure what I will do with meals (anyone got any suggestions they would like to share?) but I will be trying to get them for as cheap as possible! Need to prove to my DH I can do this!
Not sure what we will be having for dinner tonight though. I was thinking maybe something simple. We're down to very basic things now but we're not going shopping till Monday/Tuesday when DD is at school all day (shes only PT).
I also need to put the WM on to wash DD's school clothes.:staradminTrying to save money to give our family a better future:staradmin:staradminDD#27/10/07, DD#2 13/02/12 :staradmin0 -
Morning All,
Busy busy busy here today again, I am on a bit of a declutter drive, and am starting to see the benefits.
Redruby, I hope it goes well today - how dare they speak to someone in your dad's condition without someone else there, that's outrageous! When my MIL was in hospital a couple of years ago, one of the nurses was a bully, but she reckoned wrongly by picking on her (along with a couple of elderly vulnerable women in the same room)! She felt the sharp end of MIL's tongue, and MIL did complain about her - I don't know what the outcome was though. I complained about one of the midwives in the hospital when DS1 was born, she was awful, I wouldn't think twice about complaining - at the end of the day if someone isn't doing their job properly, be they a waitress a nurse or whoever, the right thing to do is to bring it to their employer's attention, and trying to put someone off complaining, or the other members of staff deciding to turn the other cheek, smacks to me of terrible management problems within the organisation. OK rant over, sorry
Hope everyone else is OK. Bargainbird, are you still on the crackers today?
Fairylittle, hope your daughter is OK, hugs for you and her {{}}
Hugs all round.
