Disgraceful service from Npower Homteam Boiler Care

Gas Service & Repair Engineers £26,325.
Both plus bonus, but from what is posted on here, I dread to think what the bonus is!

Wow that is poor, I pay 24k for non gas safe plumbers and 29k for gas safe plumbers plus they get van etc, and I live in Wales. No wonder Npower are such cowboys.0 -
UPDATE:
FRI 04th:
Engineer came and fitted a new gas valve and new HT leads on friday afternoon.
SAT 05th:
Boiler failed this morning so it still is not fixed
The engineer rang me to check on things and informed him of the failure. He will pass on the update to his boss.0 -

If they keep there word and replace the boiler now then there should hopefully be no more call for compensation.
I can't believe how long this has dragged on for. Just hope they don't drag this out any longer0 -
Have they checked the fan venturii yet?, not being funny but if they made one simple phone call to halstead technical helpline this will be the first thing they suggest aswell.0

I would think with all the parts thrown at it they should throw in a fan for good measure. It's almost a new boiler.0

They did bring a new fan assembley last weekend but they didn't fit it as old one is ok. They have called halstead tech several times while working on the boiler and followed their suggestions.0

Its the venturii inside the fan, tell your guy to link all three wires at the aps and leave it on test to prove.0

Todays update:
Npower want to send out another engineer to have another go. I have refused as last friday was supposed to be the last attempt to fix the boiler.
I have asked to speak to the Field Manager who seems to be calling the shots but as usual they are not available.
Looks like I am going to have to send npower the bill for a new boiler via the small claims court!!
My advice to all considering Npower boiler care is forget it, more trouble than its worth!0 -

I have followed your thread for days and have a few questions:
1. this npower rep on these forums, the fact they sent a copy and pasted responder, was there any joy from them?
2. you have a contract that says if they cant fix it they will replace it, did you ask them to replace it?
3. please will you let us know the court case details i am interested.
