i am currently in the process of lodging a hefty complaint to nPower after one of their gas safe engineers serviced my boiler on thursday and left me with a gas leak inside the boiler which subsequently had ignited and burned through the PCB inside the boiler. this was only found out after i called an independent engineer out after nPower told me on thursday they wouldnt be able to get someone back to me until tuesday. its a damn good job i did ask someone else to come out or theres a big possibility that i wouldnt be here typing this post..absolutely disgusted with their attitude and negligence that has put my families lives in danger!0

Call next day from Homeserve, the parts are rare (Potterton Suprima 40. common boiler) and it will be £2000 for a new boiler. They said the boiler was "beyond economic repair" and even if the parts were replaced, there was no guarantee it would work.

I had to cancel my nPower boiler cover because we have a rare Potterton boiler and when I got the T&C's it said they don't cover Potterton boilers.0 -

An update for you all:
The manager who said he would call me back today DANIEL has booked today off !!
His manager JOE is also not in today conveniently.
I am absoloutely fuming, they have lied to me again!
To the Npower rep above please bang some heads together. I have sent you contact details please call me today....
Not only do I pay you for this disgraceful boiler cover I am also an Npower gas and electric customer... well I cant see that being the case for much longer.0 -
Just seen an advert in the latest gas magazine for npower wanting service engineers. At the rates they are paying I'm not surprised at all the problems everyone on here is getting!!0
