im gald you mentioned the dual cables as i know some sky dishes need a converter, but i have 2 leads so im ok for freesat. cancelled sky last month and tho i still get the basic channels for free, the box isnt even plugged in. i dont miss it at all, dont even need to bother with freesat and ive just watched sky sports 2 for free on the internet for the snooker shootout, isnt the internet amazing!Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000

If your old Sky box isn't plugged in, then whatever you are receiving on your TV is not Freesat from Sky!No free lunch, and no free laptop

Well my Humax box does exactly what I responded to via the original quote. It RECORDS, REWINDS, SLOWMOS, SERIES LINKS and gives me 100s of channels of rubbish"
So please tell me where did I say I could get the Sky channels????
I said 1000s.:money:
My point should have been clearer. By 1000s of channels of rubbish I mean I pay for the sky package because I want FX, sky channels, the new and I am expecting to be wonderful Sky Atlantic, Dave, Living. Oh it's all sooooo goood. I don't really go to the cinema and my sky fee is split between 3 people so for me it is a small price to pay for my weekly entertainment.House saving Targets:

I currently have skyhd+ in the front room and linked to the bedroom upstairs with a cable linked from the back of the sky box and using the magic eye to change channels up stairs.
My question is when i change over to freesat can i do the same as sky or do i need one of the wireless sender dlan ?
Or do you only need that device to watch i player upstairs ??
and will i need another remote control ??0 -
To use iPlayer via Freesat you will need to link your Freesat box to your broadband connection via ethernet or Homeplugs. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I couldn't be without my sky+ box now, although only a recent sky customer. I'm not a tv addict, but its so handy to be able to record programs when I want, and pause, rewind live tv. It keeps my kids distracted for an hour or so too. :j0
