Sorry to hear about the trip to A&E, I hope you start to feel better soon.

Great news re the promotion, that should make things a little easier at least, but I agree to keep quiet about it for now !

  • afternoon! nsd here :D will update sig in mo. have £50 left to last until payday :( !!! need to get food out of that yet & pay pocket money to school for the term  considering the pocket money is £52 i think i will be holding out on that now till pay day  !

Having a bit of a wobbly day. Had horrid night sleep so very tired and therefore have spent the morning in tears & feeling very fragile. i feel a bit of a fool for coming off my anti d's now i thought i could cope :( but it's clear i can't. I really don't like the side effects though so not sure what to do. Perhaps i should leave it a while longer as i need it to leave my blood stream properly first maybe things might even out then.

Hoping for a cheap shop tomorrow. Any money left over will go back in pot towards next month (wishful thinking there eh)

Must post ebay item tomorrow too and get some more things listed on facebook. Far too tired to care about that today. DH is coming back from work in a bit so i can go get a nap in. KIds were in our bed last night all night so no wonder i'm tired. They had half the bed each and me and dh were perched precariously on either edge!! i fell out 2x!!!! Grr!

Must also get onto barclays i want transactions dating back as far as they can give me...anyone know how i go about asking for this? do i call or write a letter?? Might try santander too while i'm at it.

Anywho gonna have a quick mooch around and then go off for my nap! :)

Hi DFW321 hope you're feeling bit better and the dizziness is going..

We are trying Amazon instead of EBay..better for small items altho postage for books seems to be fixed at £2.80.

Hope you are having a good day

    Hiya,

Sorry to hear about your bad night, I was up half the night as well, but I had the bed to myself !! I really do hope you begin to feel better soon.

Re Barclays, you will need to request a SAR from them ( subject access request) You will need to enc a postal order for £10 and ask them to provide you with all financial info they have on their records about you, incl all transactions, charges, PPI etc etc. If you have account numbers list them. You should find template letters on here to use, I always tend to tailor them to our personal situation though. If you have trouble , give me a shout, I have an outline of something here that I can PM if its any help.

    Take Care x

    Hi DFW.

    I hope you're feeling better.
Sorry I haven't posted for ages but I have been reading your diary.

It's been awkward with one laptop missing as one was in for repair, although it was not repaired. Long story.:(

I hope you are getting some decent weather down there. All it does up here is rain. :(

    DFW,

Can you go back to the GP and ask for a different anti -d?

There are so many on the market and obviously people react in different ways to each.

Hope your vertigo clears up soon (((DFW)))
  • thank you all :) vertigo still here :( but i've given myself a slap and cheered up lol. I also went to bed at 6.30 pm last night as just could not keep my eyes open. Listened to some lovely calming music (to drown out kids downstairs with hubby) and drifted off almost immediately :D got up at around 7.30 this morning and feel tonnes better for it!

Have already done the food shop for the week. £10! :D juice, milk, butter, bacon (would have been £3 cheaper if only i hadn't been starving and fancying a bacon sarnie, drat!) Oh and some of te$co extra lovely (very cheap) underwear for ds2!

I've totted up the spreadsheet and up to now in the year we have spent a whopping.....£939.88 on the grocery bill :T:j averaging out at £234.75 a month :j so under my £250 i accounted for :) i'd like to say there is money left over but of course the car fund has eaten that all up :( so far this year on petrol, car tax, mot fund, maintenance we have spent £2913 on the stupid thing :( when i had budgeted £1220 so waaaaaaaaaaay over

I am going to a nice chill out evening tomorrow at my reiki teachers house :) lots of like-minded people and hopefully a nice relaxing time and only £5 which goes towards the snacks & drinks :T i will try and make it every month i think as only on once a month anyway so shouldn't be too hard i hope.

Drove past a friend who was walking with another of her friends.....half hour after she told me she was busy in the house  i don't know why i bother with people round here. They love me when they need a shoulder to cry on and then f_*k me off for everyone else when they are feeling better! I know i'm a good listener but i am fun too :(honest. makes me upset. but then i shouldn't bother really should I....i'm thinking if i am still in the area come school time for both kids then i am going to volunteer for charity work :) i feel like giving something back to the community and at least they will be appreciative :rotfl:

Missing screw for cupboard finally came. I now have an entire drawer full of wrong size ones that they already sent and finally a fixed drawer :j

will update my sig in a mo for grocery as everyone must think i'm super good with it at £700+ :rotfl:
