Fantastic advice there re the Chinos by Skint !! I will remember that one myself in years to come !! Oh the things I could make them feel guilty about ! :rotfl:
Seriously though DFW , I hope you are ok. I have Caffeine and Lemon Drizzle here if you want some and it makes you feel better !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

aww thank you all i'm in tears again after reading all the above comments :lovethoug well the chinos aren't ruined :T i think the fact i stripped straight off and threw them straight into the washing machine and put it on before it had dried helped lol. god knows what the neighbours thought about me running around in my bridget jones panties screaming to myself about bleach, trousers and nut houses (threatened the kids i was going to live in one and leave them. i think they were all ready to pack my bags for me though so not really much of a threat :rotfl:)
EE i took myself off the anti d's the dr didn't want me off them but i was having horrible side effectsi had really bad restless leg syndrome, grinding my teeth without even knowing...which was causing headaches/migraines/neck/jaw aches. And i kind of felt 'half alive' if you know what i mean. I never cried, and although i know i am probably crying too much now lol at least i know i have feelings i was beginning to forget! they kind of numb you and it just didn't sit right with me taking them esp as i was on a very high dose of prozac (after another type of anti d didn't work) so i will try and get through this....i think i am so up and down at the moment because i have just stopped them and quite suddenly too. But the good news is all my side effects have disappeared
even though the dr swore blind that they weren't side effects!!!
So today hasn't been a nsd. I went to mcdonalds and spent my last £5 :rotfl:. I've received my ds phone at last from ebay! I've left negative feedback though. it is scratched when the description says 'brilliant condition' pffffft! I also left negative feedback for a company that sold me my chest of drawers. there was a screw missing and they haven't replied to 2 emails i sent requesting a new one! I went to b&q and homebase and neither shop sell them so i don't know what else to do. I really feel a bit bad and silly over starting a claim and leaving bad feed back over a screw but not sure what else i can do
I took £30 out of my bank today. That is in my dickens bookso have £120 now for my reiki :T i'm really looking forward to doing that!
I spoke to dh and we're going to try saving £2.5k so i can move up north :T:j that will be for removals, a cleaner for march out here, deposit and rent for one month (may need to adjust for slightly more once i have checked prices out exactly) but that is a good figure to aim for at the mo. There is a house for rent on right move in the village i want right next door to where i lived when i was little :j but dh said no
but i guess at £1200 a month and 8 bedrooms he may be right (only maybe though
):rotfl:
weather is grey and dismal here. Nothing new for sunny essex then :rotfl:
Dh has gone off to a work bbq. i hope he's having fun in the rain :rotfl: he invited me and i politely declined (knowing grey clouds generally mean one thing around here) so hope they are all having funits on a rugby pitch too so i bet that is nice and muddy lol!
Fishfingers and chips for dinner for kids. I might have a cup a soup but after mcdonalds i feel sick lol. I keep feeling dizzy too so am hoping my vertigo is not returning and that it is just a side effect of coming off the pills ???!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. just had email from seller and he's sending another screw out yay! now i wonder if i can retract that feedback or is it too late  !
ALso dh said he is entitled to get you home pay if i move so long as he is on the council tax etc he will be allowed to claim for money to help get him home although not sure how often he can claim it so will have to look into it before we move. And rent that we pay here is £300 (or just under) with a seperate garage. So will have to try and find something cheap up there for a few years i think until debt is gone then look for somewhere bigger and nicerMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. hello all
Well today i've sent off (finally) the parcel to america....cost them £3 postage. £1 for the item. Madness makes no sense to me at all!
Lady for bed is coming at 1pm. Finally will get rid of it out of my front room!!!
Am watching a desk on ebay i'd like to squeeze a small one in under the stairs and set up my printer there and laptop. Just be easier to do things. I have to unpack the printer each time i want to use it at the mo from the back of the cupboard!
Front room is clean. Still need to tackle the kitchen & upstairs!
Nsd today, not counting ebay postage as paid for by seller. Will see if there is anything to transfer from paypal in a mo too. Need to buy replacement screen for ds1 for ipod touch. He is paying for it out of horse win money so no cost to me. I will then transfer whatever money is left to his account for him.
I'm hoping to add another £10 to reiki fund today & £4.50 to my savings in bank
Feeling much better today, dizziness is better and i got dh to rub my shoulders last night i was all knotted up and think that may have contributed to dizzy spells and headaches. It is still knotted up today but much better! Will ask for another later lol although not holding out on it as he moaned enough last night!
Right anyway best go do some bits will be back later though im sure. lots of catching up to do on all your diariesx

:T ebay item gone :T £14.50 to add to the reiki pot (decided the savings can take a back seat till i have my money for reiki in full;)....updated sig and am 77% of the way there already :T) also found 50p in my bag lol so that has been added so i can round the figure up :rotfl: i've rounded down all bank accounts earlier so the savings has gone up a little (better than none lol)
Need to take ds to school on sunday so need to find money. Not raiding any pots i don't have to so really need to try and make £30 last there and back (and have 1/3 tank in there already )
Living room free of clutter now...it's all back in my room:rotfl:. Am uploading pics to fb & gumtree later as just realised Paypal charge you a fee for receiving money from ebay  and as well as ebay charging a final fee i'm not making any money  so not going to bother with ebay for small items anymore just those that are heavy or expensive!
Need to clean up stairs still but kids out front playing and i need to watch them. If i bring them in though whilst i do it i risk them walking around behind me messing it up again so not sure what to do lol.
Must check my emails too as i'm sure my theatre tickets are beginning of may so have to put it in my diary!! or i will have wasted £40 and the kids won't get to see the gruffalo :eek:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. How lovely to have a clean front room.
I wish!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
afternoon all
well yesterday was supposed to be spent chilling out and waiting for ds to come back from his grandad's house. Grandad was busy though so i had to drive to Cambridge and pick him up ... meaning the petrol in there which was supposed to be for today dropping ds1 off to school had to be used. So had to transfer £100 from next month's money  (now down to £250 when it should be at £800 nearly
) so £70 in petrol and i treated all the kids to a meal at lunch today. I'm not sure what i will do about next month and the fact we are £500 short. Will have to see what is in wages and go from there.
Dh has had his appraisal at work. They want him promoted within 2 months which means £150 extra in the poteach month! I'm not telling cccs about this until we have built up a big enough emergency fund though because at the moment we are getting ourselves into such a mess because of things cropping up
!
DS2 is tired & hungry and moaning at me so if this makes no sense you can blame him! he should have eaten his dinner when we were out (grrrrrrrrrrr) good job i only bought one dinner for the lil ones to share!!
My ebay items end today and i will try listing them on fb and gumtree after this. I want them gone but fed up of paying out silly fees when my items aren't very expensive anyway!
I also had to visit the A&E this morning. For anyone who's been following my diary a while will know i had vertigo a while back and it's returnedit's awful feels like you're constantly spinning and my brain feels like it is being shaken in my head! Got tablets now so hoping they kick in sooner rather than later.
Right some jobs for today:
*catch up on at least 6 diaries! been very slack with this kids are so demanding!
*check bank accounts
*check ebay
*check emails (awaiting one to see if i can have a refund on something i didn't need anymore)
*make kids light dinner...ds not here and dh with him dropping him off so i will just give kids a sandwich or something after the big lunch they just had.
* get an early night in to hopefully ease this dizziness a bit
Right off i go! hope everyone is well xxMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
