bother i did it through TCB. I guess the key is to look at them both first and then go for it. Never mind something is better than nothing. As soon as payments are showing i will cancel it. Thanks for your help todayMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Oh DFW I'm sorry you felt so sad yesterday.:(
You do really need some time for yourself, I know its not easy. I know DH isn't around much, but could you not try and grab few freebie cinema tixs, ask him to have the children for a few hours one evening and nip out with a friend. It will do you the world of good and make you go some way towards feeling ike you again.
I think we can sometimes all too easily once we have had children lose ourselves and then with the big ugly debt mountain as an added nose around our neck , if you are anything like me I have a tendency to lock myself away and then feel more and more miserable by the minute.
How about your parents ? Are they too far away to come and have the children ? Mine rarely stay with their grandparents, one set are about 2 hours away but on the odd occasion they do have them, I will maybe take the girls and they will bring back therefore sharing the petrol costs as well. Then you could get some time at home pottering around as well.

Not rubbish suggestions at allmy mum doesn't have a car & works weekends otherwise i know she'd visit more often & that she would have the kids. In fact she has offered to have DD this summer (as she has booked time off) for a week or so. I'll still have ds 1&2 but it will be nice to be able to spend quality time with each child. DS1 is going to my dad's in Easter, he's going to do some work experience with him and also earn a bit of pocket money
Last night when dh came back i was in such a state that he actually noticed straight away. Sent me up for a bubble bath & bought me some winethen he got up with kids this morning, sorted them out. He took them to the zoo whilst I went into town with ds1 & his friend and I let them wander off for an hour or so and i went shopping in peace. I now have some new vest tops, new leggings & a cardigan. O.k it's not much but all my other clothes were quite literally falling to pieces
thus making me feel even more down about myself!
I spent £45 on clothes (oops) & £15 on Mcdonalds for 3 of us  we walked there and back (half hour each way) so saved bus fares and i'm feeling much better now
DH is kindly taking all three children tomorrow as well to drop DS1 back at school. So i should have most the day to myself again. Hopefully I will then be ready to face next week againMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Glad you've had some time to yourself DFW, it really does make all the difference. Women are not very good at putting themselves first and consequently it often takes a us getting into a state before anyone notices how low we are. Try not to let this time out be a one-off if possible (easier said than done, I know).

I'm glad you've had some time to yourself. You deserve it.
There is so much going on in each of our lives and sometimes we need to just let it go over our heads, relax and enjoy some quality 'me' time. You've told me that often enough.
Enjoy your Sunday and spend some time doing things you enjoy and maybe things you haven't done for a while.
Take care.June 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15

Morning everyone
thank you for your kind comments
I feel much better today. I'm not sure what has been wrong with me the last week or so but i've been up and down like a tart's knickers :rotfl: and nope not wrong time of month
I have the afternoon to myselfso i am going to get my yoga dvd out and do a workout. I've decided to jump back off the band wagon of zumba/running/aerobic exercise........i just don't like it
and therefore don't keep it up. I do however enjoy yoga and am pretty good at it
so will start up on that again :T After my walk yesterday I am in agony
:o:o I am 32 for christ sake not 132!!!!!!!! I need to get fitter. If i lose weight it will be a bonus too but i'm more concerned about toning up and having more energy! My mum has suggested (again) that i get tested for M.E or Fibromalgyia but I don't want to ... I know if it were to come back positive for one I would just end up getting depressed again. SO my new resolution is to get fit and therefore I will get healthier & thus have more energy :j:j:j:j
So Am aiming to do 3 x 20 min work outs before next weekend. Not too much, and not too little. My hips are in agony after yesterday so i think anymore would perhaps make me worse at first. I'm currently walking around like my 76 yr old nan
:o:o:o:o!!!!!
Anyway I will be back later, have to go put the chicken in & prepare the veg for dinner before ds goes back to schoolMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Hope you have a relaxing chilled out day. I agree with you about the exercise that if you really don't enjoy it then no point in carrying on. Hopefully between the yoga and walking you can find a happy medium. I just need to sort my eating habits out
