  • LOL thanks very muchly ladies, but let's be honest now :p i only had 13 nsd's because i had no money to spend :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And Today is the day I have been looking forward to since december 31st :rotfl:.........yup it's pay day :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:T

Now i am faced with the decision of whether or not I need to go to Dunelm Mill and look for the table cloth I [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] NEED :think::think: and i'm thinking I definitely need to get out the house. I definitely miss shopping. So therefore I am going to go and have a look :rotfl:I may or may not buy anything but ya know how it is on payday, money burning hole in pocket and that sorta thing :wall::whistle:

So will be back later to report spends (or not ..maybe :rotfl:)

    dfw :)
  • I was planning a Dunelm Mill trip today to look for the cushion I really NEED also ! The sleety snow and too much work to do has put me off ! You never know we could have been standing next to each other in the queue and we never would have know it !!:rotfl:

  • Haha! Well I went ;) the snow didn't put me off :rotfl:

However before I even got there I ended up down the garage with my blooming car again! One tyre had 2 punctures in it  I replaced it rather than had it fixed as it's happened twice now in a month and to fix the punctures is £20+ so rather than keep doing that I bought a new one for £140.40 :(:(. Not impressed. This means no money to the emergency fund again nor to the car maintenance fund because i need to to cover the tyre. Pfffffft.

So went Dunelm, decided i didn't like ANY of the table cloths in the packs (cheap ones :o) and chose one off a roll, :p at £9.99 a metre wasn't exactly cheap (oops) But was my little treat for the month. Also needed a potato masher so shopping in there came to £29!

Then i went to asda next door where they were in the middle of a fire alarm panic  we spent £15 on a clock that needed replacing & a few other bits!

Then thought oh blow it, i've already gone over budget a pizza hut won't hurt :o.............£15 later.......

So todays total spends are about : £200.........Oh yes and £25 petrol....£225 total :eek:

DH will be ever so impressed with me. :o
  • Oh no not the blasted car again ?Poor you, never rains but it pours eh ? Mine has a warning light popped up today, but I have decided to ignore it for a couple of days at least. They have a tendancy to disappear after a while on my car !

I'm sure DH will be so pleased to see you he wont give the amount of money you have spent today a second thought , and anyway tyres, mashers and tablecloths are all essential items, its justthe pizza that may need explaining away !!

  • Evening

Well this afternoon I got back onto the de-cluttering & tidy up mission :j

    So today's job was to:
    • Put table cloth on and spend 10 mins admiring it with friend :D
    • Tidy living room of toys- put them back in kids room (minus the ones that don't fit up there)
    • Move all the furniture round, cos i was bored with it the way it was :o
    • Dust
    • Hoover
    • 1 wash in machine
    • wsah up
    • burn already cooked stew to bottom of pan when re-heating :silenced::whistle:
    • Then bribe kids into eating lovely burnt stew with jelly for pudding :rotfl:
Have ordered 50 mars bars, 50 snickers bars for £20. I had money on @mazon already so i only paid £16 :T if my maths is correct that is 16p a bar :D lots of lovely stock for my shop & profit for the 2nd purse ;)

Need to go onto bank tonight have a re-shuffle of money ...although may just do that tomorrow actually once the majority of bills are paid.

Need to finalise the te$co basket as that is due for delivery tomorrow afternoon :) and then pop to ald* tomorrow also as voucher runs out on Thursday for my £5 off!

Anyway off to catch up on everyone's diaries and then put kids to bed (they are being very good, eating jelly and watching a disney film :))

    hmmmmmmmmmmm,

Well the kids do need feeding, and as i was at the garage so long i was running late for getting back for lunch. That's my excuse & i'm sticking to it :D

    And-

    me+cars=disaster

    Fact.:(

Very very plausible reasons if you ask me !:rotfl:

  • CHAPTER II

I'd like to set myself some new goals for 2012

    Financial
    • Pay off half my debt by christmas 2012 By tomorrow will have paid off £1004 :)
    • Have some sort of emergency fund - with money STILL in there by 2013 :rotfl:-failing miserably. Car has eaten this ALL up both Jan & feb :(
    • To pay for christmas in cash again Already started on this :T
    • Stick to budget -If it weren't for the car I would actually have had extra in the bank this month & for Feb (grrrrr)
    • Stop impulse spending when bored :o(ummmmm...could do a little better on this one :D)
    Health
    • To keep my depression in check. This means going to the dr's for reviews regularly Going well so far on a lower dosage too :T
    • lose some weight, 1 stone would be nice! 3lb off so far :j would like another 3-4lb in feb :T
    • exercise regularly even if just a walk with the kids. Fresh air always puts me in a better mood! have been doing when i can, and do feel much better for it
    • Carry on with my meditation (really makes me calmer i think) I do most nights! I sometimes fall asleep i am so relaxed though, oops lol
    • Complete a 7 day detox!- I have the book, I have the Juicer! Ran out of money for the fruit & veg :rotfl: maybe I can rope DH into doing this with me!
    Personal Goals
    • To complete my reiki level 1 - doing in march :j
to make sure i see at least one friend a week. I have a habit of locking myself in the house away from everyone well most weeks i have :o
Make time to look after myself. Whether it be a nice bath, reading a book, watching my t.v programme in peace -I sometimes do this! Most times though I neglect to look after myself!!! oops again!
      House
      • To finish de-cluttering -done the kitchen, started living room. STill have under the stairs cupboard to do, one welsh dresser & cupboard !
Do the garage -may delegate this ;)
Empty the shed out and get rid of things we don't need/use waiting for weather to get better as kids follow me out in cold otherwise!
Apply for larger house (no harm in trying huh) not done yet
        Family

        • To make sure DS1 is happy, settled and is improving on his mood well he's on st john's wort, some days are good, others bad.
        • To get DD into a suitable school for september (where has time gone!) Have applied, find out in April....
        • To get DS2 down for a nursery to start in September will just go to the one dd is at in summer term i think they usually have spaces!
        • To make time with hubby. perhaps actually go out together this year for a meal  Considering i haven't seen him all month, i can safely say i still have this one to do :rotfl:
February's update ;) Will update again at end of next month......I may even add a few more too! :T

        Also in Jan:
        • 13 NSD's
        • grocery was in under £200 :j............the rest of the money was used to stock pile but have added this to grocery spends for year as it will even out and will be used eventually :rotfl:
