  • picked up DD from nursery and took kids to the zoo :) they had a play in the soft play bit and we saw a few animals, most were hiding from the cold- don't blame them!

    Didn't spend any money even though you have to walk through the gift shop to get out.....sneaky :cool:!!

    Think it's gotta be spag bol for dinner tonight. Nice 'n' quick. Then another early night. I'm still feeling rough, but the fresh (FRESSSSSSSSSSSH :eek::eek::eek: AS IN BLOW YOU AWWWWWWWWWWWAY) air helped!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

    Need to check Te$co still to see what was on my monthly order but tbh i think i got all the offers so may just cancel it & get from elsewhere :)

    Hope everyone is having a good day, I fear i've scared everyone away from mydiary because of ramblings about ds1 & mum & oooh let's think life in general :eek::rotfl:

  • This evening's job is to watch eastenders, oh yes, and do a meal plan :D i had one for the whole month and can't find it...........doh. Will have a look to see if i posted it on here, if not, starting from scratch again! At least then i can make the most of the bargains i bought, can incorporate those into it ;)

    MIL rang me for a chat about DS1 and has told me to leave him there, just like my dad did :eek: i feel so bad doing that lol, but will do for now!! Also she recommeded another school, but over my dead body would i send him to that one........after telling her that was the one i went to before crying home, she dropped it lol. I could just imagine him being in the same house as i was in (even though he is a boy) crying cos of all the bullies (b1tches back in my day! snobby as you like and ALL had horses or ponies!) i'd rather him go to the local special school !

    So...meal plan....be back...!

    You sound very organised with all your standing orders. I definitely haven't been scared off; I'm really rooting for you with your DS1. It sounds as though he has a wonderful opportunity where he is so I am hoping he decides to stay.

  • :j yay glad to hear it because today, i would like to moan about chicken pox, and scare number 3 in the dfw household :rotfl:

    I'm keeping DD off school, not 100% sure if she has it, but her nursery will just send her home anyway so waste of time getting her there! She is laid on the sofa right now, grapes on her lap, juice by the side of her, milkshake on the tele, she doesn't seem in the least bit concerned she's missing a day off nursery :rotfl:...DS2 well he's disappeared off to do mischief, as usual .... they've both got spots but neither are that bad so i'm unsure if it is the real thing. But nice day in I think, they both seem a bit under the weather. and amazingly last night both asked for bed at 5pm :eek: i held off till 6pm but they were falling asleep by then so i put them up!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Jobs for today:
    • Washing up (hurry up pay day so i can fix dishwasher!)
    • check online banks
    • call mum see what is happening with her transfer
    • surveys
    • order some printer ink, i can finally get some coupons printed off then for shopping :T
    • quick tidy up
    • wash 1 lot of clothes
    And that is it! I'm shattered, ds2 woke me up about 4 times last night!
  • I have my first lot of money into my second purse....oooh how exciting! £13.42 :D
    I went out earlier and spent money, went to boots to get some anti-histamine for kids as they keep scratching. And whilst i was there i got seduced by offers :o ended up spending around £14 but everything was half price or better so that was good. It's gone in to my stock ;)
    Kids were proper feeling sorry for themselves so i picked up a mc donald on the way home....and we were going to a friends house so i got them one too :o £15 later..........
    For dinner I was supposed to have something on the meal planner but was so stuffed i fed the kids some left over salad in the fridge with cous cous and some ham sliced up into it. I've just had a banana sandwich so should be nice and easy to clean up dishes this evening :p
    Need to update my spreadsheets. I am getting a £12 refund from Mothercaree as they didn't have something in stock i ordered.............waaaaaaaaaaay back when i was getting presents in the sale for this xmas! I had completely forgotten they were supposed to be forwarding more stuff :o good job they were honest :rotfl: They could have kept the £12 and i'd have never known. come xmas i'd be looking for toys thinking i'd hidden them somwhere and couldn't find them:eek:
    DS2 is having a bit of a growth spurt i may have to sort through his clothes again *sigh* they don't seem to last five mins!! So glad I don't spend much on them, i'd be really angry if i were shopping in the likes of NeXt or GaP for everything :eek: you certainly don't get your money back even through ebay!
    Right so where was I ...ah yes....must update 2nd purse spreadsheet, also take off some money on yearly budget to reflect refund from MC. Umm and think that is it, really am so tired can't think straight :(!
    Have a lovely evening all :)
