In what way are they a ripoff?
They are sold by weight which is clearly shown on each packet just the same as any make of crisps.
If you don't like them don't buy them but I see no evidence to support the potentially libelous claim that they are a ripoff.
(Seabrooks for me, just a bit thicker without being too hard unlike some of the other makes of crinkle/ridge cut ones)0 -

Correct I've never heard of them and the pack doesn't look any different to the dozens of others on display:p0 -
Has anyone tried the Wasabi flavour Seabrooks? They are very very strong. Made my eyes water!0

Walker's use the wrong colours for Salt & Vinegar and Cheese & Onion too (imo
)
I do try to avoid Walker's, because I feel they have far too big market share......0 -
Seabrooks are still a small time operator, but are dominant in the North of England, especially Yorkshire, where they outsell Walkers. They are expanding and will have presence around the Country over the next few years.
Most Morrisons sell them and I suspect it's a long relationship as Mr C Brook and Mr Morrison started in business at similar times in Bradford. Until quite recently Morrisons and Seabrooks HQs were within half a mile of each other.0 -
I try to avoid Walkers, only buy if they are on offer as OH will eat them, but that's rarely - I think they leave a horrible aftertaste. Agree with Davetrousers - that the packet colours should be the other way round for the cheese/onion & salt 'n' vinegar - easier to recognise imo.
Apart from Seabrooks crisps, I always loved KP Salt 'n' Vinegar Minichips, which I thought were out of production, but aren't as I found a box of 48 - which I'm slowly getting through.2017 - no clutter to be seen challenge: 72/2017
Weight loss the old style way challenge - 7/14lbs :j0 -
Forgot to mention i like Quavers too
And Red Sky crisps are good altho i have only had the west country bacon cheese flavour and that was pretty addictive so dont buy them too often lol!!

I'd never heard of Seabrook until I moved to Bradford about 8 yrs ago (thankfully not there now!), it's definately a Northern thing as my friends and family back in the Midlands probably have never heard of them either!
they are nice though.
I love Transform-a-snacks - pretty cheap but soooo nice!
I don't buy Walkers, boring and you don't get many.9/70lbs to lose0
