  • Hi there, I placed an order with this site a few months ago. I did get my items but it seemed to take a while and I think I had to send 2 or 3 reminder emails asking where my stuff was. I threatened to repot them to trading standards and my items appeared within a couple of days! Wouldnt recommend them but if you can be bothered with the hassle or are in the mood for a fight go for it! :-)
    Keep Smiling! :)
  • Placed an order in May, goods arrived mid June as described but via Singapore. Amount taken from credit card is as quoted so, hopefully, all is well and the goods are genuine.

They debited my card 79p more than the order/invoice price then tried to blame my card company for applying a foreign surcharge. This concerned me on several fronts. However Mastercard said a) they had not applied such a charge and b) they regard them as a UK company anyway. Order arrived in just over a week, but I' still waiting for the 79p refund - it seems God has to authorise it. I would think twice before using them again out of principle.

I would just like to clarify a few things:

First of all, it is a criminal offence to purchase animal medication from abroad,
Secondly, it's also an offence to purchase prescription-only medication without a prescription,
Thirdly, animal medicines may only be supplied from premises that are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) - this ensures that the medication is stored in the correct manner and is safe to use on our animals.
Sorry for the thread necromancy, but wouldn't the first one be against EU law anyway, at least as far as buying from EU member states is concerned as it's supposed to be a more open market with the bloc?

I believe the law is actually more complicated than that. You cannot simply move vet medicines round the EU freely at the moment. It needs to have an EU-wide license# and if it does not, becomes very complicated.
  • OMG. I've been ripped off by this company. I ordered Advocate from them via their website at a quoted price which was advertised as 70% discount. Received in one week from Singapore with invoice giving a price of £12.48 plus 96p shipping.
Decided to order some other things from them and entered their address which came up with a load of other sites including this one. After reading about these people I just checked my bank account and find they've taken £42.77p from it which is £29.34 extra. So I went onto their site again and found they have changed the price on it to £38.99 with £2.99 for shipping. So they charged the full price, extra shipping plus (believe it or not) an extra 79p. I went into my email box and found an order confirmation for £41.98 which like an idiot I hadn't checked previously. But I have an invoice which was included in the package for £13.43 (which was the price quoted originally on their website and I thought I was buying at). Sharp practice.
Talk about learning the hard way. Too late for me but I hope others will learn from my mistake - check everything.
  • I've used them more than a few times before and only ever had one reason to complain. The complaint was delt with extremely well and I have to say I was happy in the end.
Just places another order with them today. I hope your experience was ok with them! :-) x

  • I recently ordered Stronghold for cats from them, and yes they applied the cheeky 79p extra, but I'm not going to get too bent out of shape over that. The goods arrived after 12-14 days as they said they would, postmarked Singapore, and look genuine enough. I will check the batch numbers with the manufacturer and if there's any problems I'll post it here.

    So far though, no complaints.

Used this site and despite concerns all seems to be ok, advocate spot on for dogs has now arrived and has checked out to be genuine. Postage time was only just a week and yes it came in from Singapore and yes the invoice was way under actual cost. Would I use them again? Well I now find I could buy here for about the same price plus the script cost but as this is only £3.60 I would in future buy here but nowt wrong with them:T

Hmm. Two posts, both positive about the same company. Reclaimed meat product anyone? ;)
