What's going cheap, nearly half price, lots of items

Thanks OP for this one! I had great fun looking at the bargains and ordered the following on Thursday:

1 x Copper Fire Pit
2 x Desk Lamps
1 x wooden jewellry box
1 x silver Coffee Maker

Total cost including delivery £52.49!

On Friday I had a credit of £10.92 in my bank account! (strange I thought)!
On Tuesday My package arrived! 1 desk lamp and 1 coffee maker! Unfortunately coffee maker was used and still had coffee residue in Jug and Compartments! Nothing else arrived!

Phoned Company, rather bored girl said "did you receive E-Mail about items not in stock"? No! I said.

"I'll refund you £42.XX tomorrow" she said. No apologies though! I will wait and see if I get full refund. If so, second hand coffee maker and desk lamp for free! Not sure I'll use them again though!

I'm disaponted. Ordered 2 lights. Charged for both. One arrived yesterday. (this was fine BTW - Just squashed box)

Rang about the other (identical one)

Was told it should arrive today, and that they'd call yesterday to confirm.

No call.

No Delivery.

Just rang them again, they said they don't have another one.

I'll need to send this one back, and get a paypal refund for the 2 lights, then they'll post me a cheque for the postage.

Oh well

Just ordered 2 tvs one for the playroom and one because it's always handy to have extra!! Hope they are ok, from what you were saying the cs is ace so may aswell risk it.cheers

Thanks for this post, Just managed to grab a set of 3 Black Antler suitcases, for £24.99 would have paid this in local cheapy store for same items. Made order up to over £30 by purchasing a CD car kit, did not really want it, but it was cheaper than paying postage I think

Reveived an email telling me cd car kit oos and they would action refund, not yet recived, however suitcase arrived today, yes def Antler as new dont think they have been used, no probs with zips, and cardboard etc still in place so dont think they had been opened,. I assume they will not charge me postage as not my fault item oos. Very happy, will use again and keep my eye open for more bargins.

Ordered a Portable DVD player with 10" screen last night for £59, same one is £149 in current Argos catalogue. Hope its OK and not damaged. will let you know!!

Can anyone tell me if my tvs will have any sort of gaurantee? I looked AFTER(!) i bought them and I can't see anything. Cheers

When I purchased from W.G.C. I was assured the TVs and electrical items do have a year guarantee.
