    Good Evening

Hugs to all the poorlies and those who need one.
Sore throat here but holding out just. Relaxing evening I hope. Boys all quiet doing their own thing in various rooms. Not much to report, think it will be an early night.

Hester my DH uses his lamp and says it helps.

Have a lovely evening whatever your plans.

Flutterbyuk- there must be something on the air, my DS2 has a date tonight (he split up with his GF of 3yrs just before Christmas)

Part got and car still not working so back to the drawing board on that one:( My DH is totally fed up with messing with it in the cold but can't afford to pay garage prices. He has had to go and have a lie down he is so stressed. He asked me to join him but I've heard that one before:o:rotfl:

We've lit the fire tonight it's been freezing here today. Just hope its not a return of the bad weather.

Well off to dish up tea J

Home from work at about 5, i love living so close to my office :) Tidied kitchen and made a payment on one of our outstanding debts. £112 paid so far this month :)

I caved and ate a packet of crisps. I was so hungry and it was probably the lowest in calories that i had to chose from. Will start cooking dinner at 6:30 and OH can heat his up when he gets in.

Not much planned for this evening. feel like i should do more than slob in front of the telly but it's too dark to take the dog out again (i'm a wimp) and i'm not spending money so can't go anywhere else really!!

    oooooohhhhhh halight!!!

Been in work all day - picked up dry cleaning this morning, and found that they do shoe repairs too - which will not only save me money in new shoes, but also save me from driving to another town to find out if someone there does them. Very happy here! Will take shoes in tomorrow.

Splurged on lunch and bought a sandwich and a biscuit £3.75! But not something I do everyday. Have got to maintain my measurements as I'm a plus sized model at the weekend for my friend at a Bridal Fayre. Am getting really excited about it - and the break from OH and the kids will do me the world of good. Will trawl the charity shops of Andover - watch out!! Driving down on Friday afternoon so keep the motorways clear! Wooden floor now in - looks fabulous, stove being tested tonight and then we're away. Just have to finish it all off now.

Dinner tonight is spanish omlette. Better go and get it ready before I eat another piece of cake!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

Thanks JackieG for answering my question, will try that.

Am sitting here reading stuff as a diversion technique - need to do my online tax return, got everything read but just can't bring myself to tackle it! :o:o

Got myself ready to make more of the fabulous pizza quiche and have got everything except enough eggs! The fact that's it's my own fault is no consolation at all.

Soup all portioned up and some in the freezer. Evening meal (on my own tonight) was chopped up chicken thighs which had been marinaded in Reggae Reggae sauce with loads of stir fried vegetables, sour cream stirred through and parmigiana cheese scattered over the top! Yummy and filling.

Need to rationalise the freezer - it's bursting at the seams.

Hope everyone's having a good evening, I'm working up to being horizontal on the sofa by Mark Harmon time.
