I recieved a further email saying that I didn't get in, although I had the welcome to the party one. I've got £1 vouchers off, but think I'll pass. I should have told a few more porkies.

I always dye my hair exactly the same colour. The last time I went for something different was a bright red, that I thought wouldn't take on my very dark hair. I had short curls at the time, and my goodness was that dye vivid. I looked like Ronald Mcdonald! :rotfl:

A bit of a mixed review from me. I usually use the 'ordinary' Nice'n'Easy hair colour, but thought I'd give this one a go for a change.

The colour seemed to come out about right, although I always have quite a dark colour anyway. I found the foam really difficult to deal with and ended up having to frantically clean up all the bits I'd managed to splash all over the bathroom. The worst thing though is the texture it has given my hair. Usually, whe I dye my hair, one of the best things is that it leaves my hair lovely and smooth and silky. This dye has left my hair feeling like straw, really coarse and dry - horrible.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Used mine, this morning. Dark Brown. What a mess!
Much too runny - despite a vigorous shake . dripped and splashed everywhere.
I now have some rather fetching dark stains on my ear and forehead, and look like a monkey, where it has dyed some of my blond facial hair through the constant dripping.
I agree, despite using the conditioner, my hair feels like straw!
Back to the drawing board - Nice & Easy. Crap & Runny !!

Going back to the John Freda Foam next time.

Mine was ok.. Some medium blonde colour No9 i think.

Hubby always applies and he said it was no bother.

Hair was previously dyed brown so has lightened it nicely, i use any dye thats cheap and whatever colour - within reason thats cheap. I have 2 lighter blonde ones i got 75% off so this N and E one has just lightened better for the next dye.

One thing though did dye my forehead abit but wiped off.

And yep will be using the 2 vouchers for dye......... its FREE. :D

Mine never arrived, although I got an email 2 weeks ago saying it was on its way...maybe its for the best by the sound of it! I was only getting my 2nd choice colour - can't even remember what that was!
  • Sounds like I had a lucky escape this time.

I got the 'sorry you're not included but here's a £1 voucher so you still like us' email. Yeah, right.

Yes, had exactly the same problem- a horrible reddish shade (should be blonde)- hair felt very coarse- had to do another dye straightaway on top. I sent them an email- they said it was my faiult for `not holding the bottle upright` Yeah, right  Not happy- they are sending me some vouchers, but as I was dyeing my hair for my hols, I`m not impressed.....

Hi all! Well I've used mine and I am so impressed!! I was dreading it from reading this thread but thought I would chance it anyway. It was so easy to mix, the foam was proper foam (the only runnyness I found was at the very beginning but after that foam all the way). The colour is brilliant! Everyone at work commented on how lovely it looked without me mentioning I'd coloured it. Will defo be getting the 2 free boxes, it was a pleasure to use! Also my hair is so soft and shiny!
