Got a dark blonde with my voucher as I have mid brown hair.It turned out dark brown. Very messy, watery foam and difficult to smooth over hair.Couldn't "feel" the mixture as it went on so it went all over the place. Very difficult to get off skin too.
Wouldn't use it again.

Oh 'eck juniee,
I got '6A Light Ash Brown' but the pic on the box looks dark brown. Not brave enough to try it.:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -

Another disaster to report!!!
I used 'No 9 Light Blonde' on my dark blonde hair today and it ended up dark brown!!!! I could see it was going dark so only left it on for 10 mins instead of 25 mins too....what a dreadful product!!! Very difficult to apply....how on earth would you just do roots?? The 'foam' was anything but....just thin, watery and hard to control. All the pumping and squeezing to get the bloomin stuff out of the container made my wrists hurt and the awful smell nearly asphyxiated me....had to make a dash to the door for fresh air at one point. Just hope the old trick with the anti-dandruff shampoo will strip some of the colour out.....
And.....to add insult to injury I have another 2 boxes of the damn stuff that I got with the vouchers.....aaarrgghhhh!!!!!:mad:0 -
Can any one explain why no matter what colour was sent, everyone ends up with dark brown to black hair? It seems very weird stuff, almost as though at the development stage no-one thought to test it.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0

Good news!!!
Mine worked fine (well almost) I was sent Light golden Brown 6G. I was very undecided on using this or the Perfect 10 I had bought from the reduced area in Asda, a £2.50 bargain.
So I went with the nice'n easy.
It was a little watery when I first started to use it even though I had given it a really good shake. It then had a weakish foam (remember to keep it upright).
It went on o.k. alright maybe a little sloppy if I'm being picky, but I did find I got a better coverage then with the normal creams. Even though my hair had a good amount on I gave it a little ruffle and added more. This was the only time it looked even remotely like the adverts.
I did worry as it was a very ginger colour in the bottle, but decided I was in till the end, so went for it!
After the full 25 mins I rinsed it out, which again was easier then rinsing the cream. After rinsing I washed my hair in my usual shampoo, which is something a hairdresser friend told me to do years ago. This removed all the excess or so I thought, but it did remove residue from my skin.
I then used the nice'n easy conditioner and was surprised that more of the colour came out on rinsing. I double check that it was permanent, so will wait to see if this happens next time I wash it too.
All in all: 6/10
Colour - good.
Usage: easier then cream.
Use again - yes, depending on price.
Recommend - probably (after some consideration)
As good as John Frieda foam colour - no.£2021 in 2021 no.17 £1,093.20/£20210 -
i used a meduim red kit, left on for the time it said and now i have black hair. not too pleased now a freebie is going to cost me at least 15 pound to correct0

I got this this morning too, like you I'm annoyed that they left it this long and would rather have been rejected when I signed up.Still after reading of all the disasters on here I'm glad I didn't get one now :T
I hope that everyone who has had a bad time with this hair colour tells them about it and hope you get your hair back to how you want it too0 -
another poor review here. Weak runny foam and what I will now refer to kindly as 'strawberry blonde' hair LOL0

Crikey.. there are some real horror stories on here! I hope everyone is complaining to them!
Still no email for me - had the 'welcome to the foam party' one in January but no further contact from them at all.
Starting to think that I am one of the lucky ones NOT to have received one after reading the last few pages of this thread!0
