White Sapphire that dress looks lovely-Ooooh I love the design of her dress
What colour/ fabric are you thinking of? Are you making it yourself? I haven't found anything suitable for my bridesmaid yet. Her only request is not strapless and not tarty lol yet almost all of the dresses in Debenhams yesterday were strapless or tarty or both :rotfl: Haven't even decided what our colour(s) is/are so we can't do much more until we reacj an agreement on that!
Really don't panic my dear, ppl manage to arrange weddings in just a few months, we have over 15 months to go, so we've got yonks to get our butts into gear! :rotfl: It will all come together in the end
Tiara -Have you thought about getting without straps and seeing if they have an alterations/seemtress in store or at a drycleanners that could alter it to your requirements!
going to see our first venue on Thursday:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120 -

A wedding in the UK doesn't have to be mainstream and unbearably stressful - ignore the bridal magazines, decide between you what you want your wedding to look like, and go from there. I look at offbeatbride.com a lot - some great inspiration (and a lot of odd stuff, but it's all about each to their own there) and stops me from being sucked into all the 'Princess' special daaaaay' stuff that I'm trying to avoid!!
Looking forward to hearing about your plans! Let us know when you set the date, and I'll add you to our elite list
mmm maybe a change of plans goin to look at a venue tomorrow orocco pier in south queensferry lol, they have some really good pacakages, it was where i originally wanted but thought i couldnt afford it

It's a private school near our day venue. Looks v posh doesn't it?! Slightly concerned about how much it'll cost, I'll be honest
I'll be back with a full report tomorrow

Good luck Lorna & White Sapphire looking at your venues:D
I had a few menus from Traverna in Lindos & Pefkos just to get a few ideas of what's on offer, some vgood others were rubbish. We are going in Sept again for 2 weeks, so we are going to tell every travern we go in that we are looking for a reception venue, hopefully might get a few free drinks:pMarried the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.0 -

WOW everyone has been so busy on here!!
Love reading the debates about family etc, my mum has kicked off that one of my brothers cant come to Italy so am having a proper formal reception / evening over here! so its like two weddings!! the OH better do some overtime!! lol
Whats everyones thoughts on haggling with the price though? not sue if its the done thing? but I do love a bargain!!
Flying out to Itlay in October to book my wedding buy may have to pospone to May 13we both turn 30 next year along with our friends so is gonna be mental with parties, weekends away etc and unless I win the lotto I may have to wait!!
Thanks to whoever mentioned off beat bride thats right up my street
Another weird questions are you all taking your hubbys names? not sure what to do??
