Oh wow! Just running through the thread and everyone is far more organised than I am!

I'm definately not! Not yet booked the venue, registrar or anything just been looking at pics and reading threads about the only thing I done is to get the info on the legal stuff!

i dont think we are doing save the date cards..ill probably just give the invites out a little earlier and then just ring round people nearer the time if theyve forgotten LOL

i think you send them about 6 months in advance?

We sent out Save the dates in Feb, but thats because we are marrying in in Rhodes, so wanted people to have plenty of time to decide if they could come out. If we were doing it here would probably have waited till Jan next year.
Married the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.

Not doing Save The Dates - too much to think about!! Instead we'll inform people of the date face to face or by email/phone/facebook. We haven't decided on the guest list yet, but have told immediate family, and friends who live in Australia. We don't want to tell anyone else until we know who will be invited!

Invites themselves will probably go out around 3 months in advance - everyone will already know about the date and location and we'll be setting up a wedsite at some point which we'll let everyone know about in plenty of time to check accomodation/travel info etc.

We've decided that our wedding will be in the US and I've seen a lovely beachy dress which I posted a link to earlier, but this is as far as we've got. We're off on holiday to the place we'll be getting married next year, later this year..if that makes sense! I guess that we'll come back with lots of ideas and info and then we'll have a year to sort everything we need. We also have a friend out there who will help as much as poss, too.
It's going to be a very small wedding. It's too far for my Dad to travel, unfortunately, but I'm hoping my sister and her family will be there, and my step-kids are already a definite :-)
From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!

oh wow starrystarrynight that sounds lovely :) i would love to just go abroad and get married on a beach but unfortunatley we would have too many guests that wouldnt be able to make it and that would upset too many people

ah i wish id stop reading emails in bed damn! I sent photog that i really really like a message saying is there anyway he could drop the price £99 to meet our budget as i will book early, he sent one back sayin he couldnt but he will give me a pre wedding shoot which is normallly £150 and if we book now we get this year price not the one for next year which wil go up,he said take a look at his info which said he would cover the ceremony up to the breakfast or for extra he would cover bridal prep to mock cake cutting, the latter being what i want an thought i was going to get for the lower price:( will try an haggle again 2moro but it leaves me feelin :( at bedtime
