Hi toni_ welcome to the club. I think e-mail him unless you are a regular church goer to his church and you could ask him after sunday service. As for the budget there's another thread called marrying in castle for £2500 which has got some tips on there. Hope this helps:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120

Welcome toni_!
£2500 is definitely do-able - there are so many tips on this board so just do a search and something will probably pop up - if not, ask!
Good luck with your planning

Just had a quick peek at that, and have bookmarked for future reading! Thanks Scotsbride :TStarrystarrynight wrote: »Oh wow! Just running through the thread and everyone is far more organised than I am!
LOL! I am so not organisedSince October, when we actually started thinking about planning, we have
- booked the venue for the ceremony and wedding breakfast
- I have decided on the design for my dress and bought practice fabric which is still on the roll at my parents' house, despite my intention to start 'by Easter'
- looked at a couple of evening venues, and have just contacted another, so nothing decided there yet
- decided who will be Best Man and Maid of Honour
Still to do, like, now:
- decide on evening venue, working out logistics like travel and parking for guests
- find a Humanist celebrant
- finalise individual bits of budget (whole figure pretty much there, but I have no idea what I can spend on, say flowers so not buying anything yet!)
- get wedding insurance
Followed by everything else that needs doing which I'm not thinking about yet!!
