Like I said on Facebook. Your cake looks really good Tracey. How do you get the sides of your cake so smooth with crisp edges? I've seen that people put Ganache on before the fondant, but I don't know if white/milk chocolate Ganache would go with Carrot Cake. It would definitely go with our chocolate fudge layer and then our fruits have marzipan so that's easy to get crisp.

I am DEFINITELY going to start making the roses today! I must. Just in case they don't go well, I'll still have time to sort it out.

We got the tree printed out and found a mount to fit our frame we had laying around, just need to slice a little bit off in the middle and write out instructions for people so they know what to do. Got to get some baby wipes as well for peoples fingers. Still need to print out the Wedding advice sheets. I'll just use Dads printer i think he won't mind :rotfl:

Still not heard anything from mum in regards to the dress maker. I really hope her friend got back to her. Need to ring her at some point today. Meeting the Photographer tomorrow at the venue (She's never been before) to hopefully get my CD of images and show her round and give her ideas of places we were thinking of for photos.
