  • Feeling a little better now - though still really tender!
Am using the time off work to do weddinging (instead of revising for exams next week! eep!)

So far we have finished ALL the bunting and cut up the bale of fabric into tablecloths (still to be washed, dried and ironed). I've designed my order of service and have contacted a bunch of local printers for quotes (so far, the best is £60 for 100! eeep!, i hope others get back that are cheaper!)

I also took OH to get fitted for his suit, and got his hair cut for our pre-wedding photos. Asked the girl to cut it long so that it can be cut again just before the wedding.

    40 days to do. EEP!
    Life on a shoestring!

oooo it looks like well be hitting our minimum numbers only which brings my estimations on the venue costs down which means weve got under £500 left to pay/save for
this is VERY VERY doable as OH has just got a pay rise and in my next wages(31st) ill probably be able to pay £400 of it PHEW
now just to chase up all the guests who have forgotten to reply so i can bump up night guests to cover minimum numbers if needed and sort out who wants the bus ive booked(guests pay for it) then i can let everyone know how much thatl be
ooo its all coming together now :D
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p

    Congratulations Bubbles :D

I have pretty much organised the seating plan, just two couples that are a bit awkward to seat :( Then design & build the actual plan for the room. We've also decided to have favours for the evening reception now that we're allocating tables. Got 150 heart shaped bath bombs (50 of each flavour: peppermint, lavender, rose) for £27. Not sure whether to have them loose (worried about people eating them :rotfl: ) or in little grip bags with a message... I have all the stuff for the labels so I'll have a play and see what they look like,

I also need to get hold of a guillotine to make the seed matchbooks for the wedding breakfast guests (I've printed the template and have the seeds, just need to assemble them) as I cannot cut in a straight line to save my life! :rotfl:

OH is away this weekend so I'll have weddingy-crafty time & make the PomPoms and assemble the table centrepieces.

My house will look so empty when all the wedding stuff is gone!!!! I can't believe how soon it is though, 1 month on Wednesday

Having a bit of a panic... Ordered and paid for the name cards and table name cards on 17th July and heard nothing back. This lady made our day and evening invites, and order of services and although they took about a month to arrive and I know it's not 17th August yet, I've emailed her twice and had I reply. She is normally very prompt at replying... She may have jus gone on holiday but it's cutting it a bit fine with my cards, especially if I need to find some different ones! I don't have a telephone number for her either, just email. Is really starting to worry me now :(

On the plus side, we have finally chose our first dance! Lol x
Married my wonderful husband on 8/9/12 :j
