Just over 3 weeks to go! Haven't been able to get hold of the best man in over a month he's been away with the army quite abit but not so much as a text. 5 friends have now pulled out, it was only a small gathering anyway but it's going to end up all family at this rate, but thats fine by me!

Made the top tier of my cake last week, fruit cake which took about 7 hours to cook lol. Now to work out if a 16" cake tin will for in my oven

Dress got posted yesterday and is due today apparently.....I keep looking out the window and at the door. What's the betting that sh*ttylink don't deliver it today

Tilly, as he's in the army, are you sure everything is ok with him? Is there no way to contact his Commanding Officer just to check he's ok?

You made your top tier quite early. Or are you feeding it to make it nice and alcoholic?

Sorry iv'e not really been around, just over 3 weeks tto go for us eek.Still got lots to sort out. Playing around with songs atm, im liking Canon in D for the entrance. I know its prob been done to death but its such a lovely piece of music.

I had considered this as an option, he is based 30 mins from me. But the grooms pretty laid back and if I suggested it he would shrug it off. I also know from being in myself that the
Bm might get abit of grief if their getting calls for him lol. I'm hoping he's just in exercise or something with no phone or Facebook

As for the cake the top tier is fruit and yes it'll be boozy
I'm also making the other tiers as they can be frozen for 4 weeks but these are back ups incase the freshly baked don't work! X

hey girls!! ha ha everyone running in here shouting how many weeks to go!! isnt it scary/exciting!

scary because the planning we have done for months (and still are doing) has to be finished.
But exciting because we get to see all that hard work pay off and become Mrs!

Ive had my head down and got lots of jobs sorted! lol

I have a dentist appointment and a my last dress appointment on the 17th/18th August, one for my hair (cut+colour) and one for my nails a week before the wedding.

All I have to do is purchase the bridesmaid shoes, make my cake, cupcake toppers, buy a few more gifts, do a few finishing touches to decorations, and then its the usual providing numbers, paying off balances, and carting it all to the venue!!

Cant believe Ive managed to do this thing single handedly and so far pull it off ha ha

This is it girls.......its almost here!

The dress has arrived It's not like my other dress so I can't try it on myself Luckily mum's coming over this afternoon so I'll get to see if it's ok It's very long. lol. might have to get the bottom trimmed a bit.

The probs with the venue are getting worse, the next time they can met with us is the weekend of my hen do Iv'e got to come back early to try and sort out the probs and then its only 12 days till we get married we've still got the food and drinks to sort out, the plan of the day. Getting access to set up, the chair covers being delivered to sort out andf paying them and anyhting else that crops up. We were told that food would be sorted out 3 weeks before the wedding which is pretty much now, now have a meeting to try and iron out the probs 12 days before the wedding.

They don't bother returning my calls or emails either.Really wish I hadn't booked them. Will keep a list of all the bad stuff thats happened and complain after the wedding.

This really isn't what I wanted for my wedding day

Oh that sucks. Have you taken it to a manager and saying this is not good enough and you're away then as it's your Hen Do. I'd start yelling a little bit.

Unfortunatly its the manger and wedding co-ordinator that arn't being much help at all its those 2 im dealing with, doesn't help that my oh doesn't get any time off work so the only time we can make is the weekend and thats the first their saying they can do.
