Ridiculous amounts still to do, but I have my hair and make up trial on Friday, so looking forward to that. Neither the dress nor the ceremony are finished yet though.... oops.....

I am pretty much organised considering we had to change the date. Another dilemma OH's father has taken an instant dislike to one of my best friends, they haven't met yet, because of a comment she made on my facebook profile which was a joke. So I am going to hve to keep them apart. I have got all my vintage accessories to go with my dress.0

If you're after cheap sweets, check Amazon. I actually bought all my flying saucers from Sainsburys on a 3 for £1 and spent £5 to fill 8 table's jars
Cheers for the link Tilly, annoyingly I need 61, and the extra 11 that I'd need would be too expensive. Soooo annoying. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -

been to give notice
bought earrings
bookmarked veil to buy in next wages
" favours to order in next wages
got social stirrers(they should have been in last list)
ive also:
bought gifts for top table and bm's
paid off honeymoon
booked cake maker
given cake maker embellishments
got 4/6 bridesmaids/flower girls fitted
got 2/7 mens suits fitted
chosen wedding menu
booked the guests bus to the evening do and back(they will pay for it and am praying more than 10 people want it as ive paid a deposit! only had 9 rsvp cards yet though)
bought h2bs ring, £8 form argos! yep £8!! he cant wear one at work so chose a cheap one, this was £48 but because hed got gift cards to use he ended up buying more in b&ms the same day then his wedding ring cost!:money:and its gone up in price in the new catalogue
mine is currently at a specialist jewellers, hopefully they can make it small enough with putting the stone back in, i had to get that size as it was the last one available
unfortunatly the normal ring sizer wouldnt touch it as it has to go down 7 sizes so the stone will prob come out, fingers crossed he can fix it!
had hair and make up trials
got all jewellery/tiara/veil/shoes/underwear sorted
done first draft of table plans
only one day person has rsvp so far, they have till the 11th before i have the chore of chasing them up
im thinking they think i should just be able to read their minds!!!I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
I hate looking on eBay. I've just found THE dress
but I just don't have the money to buy it and it'll be the third dress that I'll have bought. Ok the first got sold, but the second is hanging in my wardrobe at home and doesn't fit. Maybe it's just because it doesn't fit, that's why I like this new dress. Oh I don't know
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
arrg invite nightmare still no RSVPs, evening invites and mispelt the village name(which I can probably correct with biro if need be) but I need to get them out now!:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120

Whups, I bought the other dress I liked...Hopefully it will look good on me. My boobs were the main problem with the other dress. They were hanging out over the top and it didn't look good. This new dress is a sweetheart dress so hopefully help my boobs a bit. lol. Just got to wait for it to be delivered now...OH is going to kill me. I haven't told him yet...What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

Sorry, I've been MIA for a while... Stupidly thought I was nearly sorted for the wedding and could take a bit of a break then on Saturday I suddenly sat up & shouted "S*** it's 6 weeks today" :rotfl: Not sure how that crept up so fast!!
Have chased the outstanding RSVPs this morning so fingers crossed should know final numbers shortly.
I need to buy the final bits for the venue - just a sign for outside and maybe a couple of bay or olive trees for by the front door. These will then double up as gifts for our mums. I'm hoping to get them from Homebase using our Nectar Card pointsThen all(!!!) I have to do this month is finish making the seed favours for the daytime guests, make the pompoms for the evening venue, and assemble the centrepieces. Oh, and pay out all of the balances
Anyone else feel bad seeing their "wedding fund" account balance deplete as final balances are paid? I've known what the money is going to be used on for ages, but seeing that bank balance go down is depressing me! I liked feeling rich when I looked at my statements :rotfl:
:rotfl: Nene!! Also, you know the rules... pics?
Scotsbride, what did you decide to do with the invitations in the end?0
