Ive just been onto the local dress shop in floods of tears. Felt like a right idiot but the more i tried to explain the more i couldnt hold the tears back.I bet they thought I was a total crazed loon and I had to keep apologizing because I couldnt even speak! lol They are going to grab my dress from the DM's and have me try it on, on Saturday to tell me exactly what can be done to it. I just feel like such an idiot sobbing on the phone still doing it now for no reason! lol

Im certainly going to have to get them some flowers for how AMAZING they are being...afterall i didnt even get my dress from them! Its so lovely to think people are out there like that instead of just money grabbers.

Oh, how lovely of them!! Hope it all goes well on Saturday. YOu definitely shouldn't feel bad about crying, it was all the frustration and disappointment coming out. You won't be the only tearful bride they've encountered!

Now go and have a glass of medicinal wine...

We will capture the experiences and milestones of a variety of couples from across the country. From the wedding day to the first anniversary and everything in between, we will film the successes and challenges that come within the first year.

We have just started our casting process and are currently looking for couples who are planning a wedding between July and October 2012. We are looking for a diverse range of couples who would not only be willing to share their special day with us, but would also be happy for us to film with them for a couple of days every month over a year long period.


It would be a great help if you could forward this information to anyone who you think may be interested or even post about our series on your blog or facebook page. I have attached a flyer to this email which will give you an indication of what we have been typically sending out.

hope you ladies get your dreses sorted out! I'm begining to hate the wedding oranisation it wouldn't be so bad if I had some support having phoned and booked the cater OH then goes on about bloody cheese and pineabble balls and volvolnt despite me tell he and discussing with him the food! wedding rings Oh can't see anything he like the talks about oak leaves so I google it and get grumpy silent treatment he snaps at the shop assistant cause he's hot and their not answering his questions have tried talking to him about it he says he doesn't know what expected or what to do. I 've said I just want a hug him to listen and the two thing I would like him to do is e-mail my dad with regard honeymoon which my dad what to give us as a wedding present which is incredibly genourous all OH has to do is tell him what things we like. He's had the e-mail over a month and still not done anything. now saying he doesn't want to go away. and moaning about it. I've just said it would be nice to have a couple of nights away to wide down and relax. I've also suggested if he doesn't want that then suggest something else. he doesn't want anything. my whole family and his are asking and then saying we should do this and that . All I want is some support from him is that to much to ask. sorry about the rant

I just did a huge post about the tv appearance and it disappeared GRRRRRRR

so long story short I was asked to go onto channel 4 make a royal wedding cake for a competition, won the first round, and then won the final LOL the story was alot longer than that but im angry it lost my post pahaha.


awww scotsbride, Im sorry your going through that Seems hes having a little wedding meltdown of his own. I know how sometimes it feels like loads needs sorting and you just want to get it all done and ticked off the list. But maybe dont even mention the wedding word for a week, and slip some trips in that dont seem like a big deal (like going to the cinema together etc) and just see if he comes around xx

scotsbride its not wrong to ask for support but maybe ask him to help with the things that dont concern your family, i wouldnt feel comfortable asking my fil for this this and that on our honeymoon even though ive know him for 12 years
is he worried about the amount stuffs going to cost? x

no but it was Fern Brittons show (who used to be on this morning) she moved to channel 4 with her own show which took over from Paul O gradys slot. It was all live too!! scary stuff! x

I agree with nuttymummy, I think he's feeing the pressure and not dealing with it well! I would take over dealing with your dad re honeymoon, as maybe he's not comfortable with doing that himself, and do a few non-wedding related things together and come back to the planning in a few days.
