bubbles, its just the smallest hoop i have...not sure how big it is, I only took it out of the packet to try on once...its with the DM's now.

Im so sorry to spill all this out onto the thread and completely clog it up. But theres no-one else I can talk too! MY OH doesnt want to know ANYTHING about my dress (he wants a surprise) my parents agree with the DM, my bridesmaid hasnt seen me in the dress, and my other bridesmaid is a very 'classic' lover.

p.s. I thought that with the £150 all-in alterations, you can have whatever you want done to it?

Yeah supposedly its all in....but I havent yet asked about shortening the body as it just seemed like an impossible task to me? But like I said I havnt had chance to ask them yet. Im planning to take my camera again to take more pics so I can get a really good idea of how it looks)

I was told having the train cut off would cost more by the dress shop (before I had seen the DM - who then told me the best thing to do would be to take the package)

    :(

everyone else is not wearing YOUR dress YOU are if you want to turn it into a space rocket then you can and they can go jump!
id run away from the dressmakers and go to your local shop, they understand you and tell your mum to butt out now its supposed to be a nice thing for you not something you have to do cos others told you and dont apologise this is what the threads for
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p

    space rocket PMSL XD

The local dress shop use the DM's where im at :( LOL
She took em up to the shop (up the road from dress shop) introduced us carried my dress up etc. They really are fabulous! But now im left in the DM's hands. Though I may nip into the dress shop on the same day i go to get some advice. They really are lovely x

LOL The whole wedding ive said' its what we want, if we want converse we are having them, if we want a film quiz we will have it, if i am wearinf freddy krueger wedding shoes its my decision' But when it comes to the dress im really at a loss because i suppose apart from choosing the person your marrying, its the second most important decision for a woman LOL

honestly its ok! and try not to beat yourself up too much its done now
you can bling up your dress with different colours rather than siver, get the train chopped off, turn it into something you'd rather
