lol I dont want to look like the model (well ok, maybe i do ha ha) BUT I just want it to fit properly, which i can clearly feel it doesnt. Damn my short body! LOL

Im aiming to get to 8st 7lb...cant see that happening anytime soon with all the pizza i eat! ha ha

Thanks nuttymummy! I am aiming for 9st 4lbs or as close as poss... would love to be 8.5st but that ain't going to happen in 18 days lol!

What you've also got to think Nutty is that photoshop has more than likely been used to give her that long neck/lots of chest being shown. Photoshop has a lot to answer for. :rotfl:

I think the dress looks really lovely on you. If you want more bling on it, get more bling on it. Sod what they say about it looking weird. It's your wedding dress

I went to about 10st when I had my daughter...I ate cakes all day long LOL
Its taken me AGES to get to 9st, so I can see just how well you have done in such a short time! well done

ha ha yes photoshop!! ha ha thanks so much I just felt like everyone was making the decisions for me...and I let them just because i was so fed up of it lol I think if it fit me the way it should I could start to get excited. But Ive seen so many wedding pictures where the bride looks so uncomfy, and its the first thing I notice...an ill fitting dress
(im a wedding photographer too!) so I get to see first hand how lovely a dress can look on when it fits properly. Why the hell i got one that doesnt fit is totally beyond me ha ha was so angry with myself I cried about it, and people thought i was upset about spending almost £1000....I was like 'no, im just !!!!ed off with myself' ha ha

well my main job is cake designing! The wedding photography is kind of a 3-4 times a year job when I can fit it in LOL I have an AMAZING photographer though, shes just fantastic! Lisa Aldersley.

hmm do you think your dress is to small? i think you should have got the size bigger then got it taken in/up if it was needed too late now i know but im just trying to say i understand what your saying!
what alterations are you having for £150?
are you wearing a hoop in that photo?
if it only takes a month to get the dress to you and you know of a seemstress who will alter it if needed at short notice id get it

Hi bubbles. All the dress shops ive been to with it say ooo its a perfect fit!
(as it should feel tight when on etc until the boning warms up and settles)

Its the actual length of the BODY part, from top boob part to waist/hips.
Im shorter in that area than most, so because the dresses waist, sits where my waist is, the boob part come higher up on me than it would a normal person. and I cant pull the dress down to make the boobs fit, or else the 'waist' part would be further down my hips and just wouldnt fit...does that make sense?! lol

She said they do a package of £150 which include *any* alterations, storage and steaming. At the moment the only alterations they are working on is making the skirt shorter at the front and sewing my bow onto the side of the dress. I go back In july to try it on..
In that photo im wearing the smallest hoop they had. There is an immense amount of heavy material inside that dress which wrapped round my legs when I tried to walk in it. If i was holding flowers etc I wouldnt be able to hold my dress up to walk, I would just fall flat on my face haha
