Which screenscraper do you prefer? Cheap flights guide

Yes, btw kayak has a box that you can tick to include nearby airports and by doing this it would include flights from BHX.
I *think* that if you tick 'nearby' for MAN, it doesn't include BHX; but if you do it for BHX, then it does include MAN
Maybe it was t'other way round, but most odd!! :cool:0 -
I have been checking flights to Manila on martins recommended screenscrapers and Momondo is consistently coming up with the lowest price0

but the question will be which agents are showing the cheapest fare and whether they are live prices. Many do not have live pricing which suits them as they can ensure they appear on comparison sites as the cheapest. When you actually go to book you may well find you are asked for more money if you want to complete the booking. The prices direct from the airline will be live. If tempted by third part pricing I would suggest checking the reviews before parting with any money...
it would not be unusual for a third party company to show a £500 flight for £480 for example, you request to book at £480 and they take the funds then come back to you and say the price is sold out so you can either pay the additional £20 or wait for your money to be refunded..you then have no cheaper fare than booking direct but an additional set of T&Cs and inability to deal with the airline direct0 -
I will recommend compare and fly from my personal experience.0

I want a search function where:
a) you can click multiple departure airport searches (and not just limited to 3)
b) you can click multiple destination points
c) where you can select anywhere in destination
One or two travel agents/comparison sites are becoming slightly better, but why is it taking so long to get the masses to change? Is it because they don't want us to be able to do this and find a good deal? I really find it frustrating doing multiple searches on the same site only because I want to plug in an alternative departure point or destination.
Anyone have any other thoughts or suggestions?

What frustrates me about some of the travel booking sites is that the price you see online is not the price you get. Here is the standard line 'Oh, I'm sorry, the price has just changed. Because these are online prices, they change from moment to moment. I'm afraid it is now xxxx but it's still a good deal. Shall we go ahead and book it for you?'.
And then comes the many add-ons like seat bookings, extra luggage (because they only give you a measly 10Kg), transfers and of course a charge for using a credit card (and sometimes, an administrative fee).
I personally think IceLolly are the worst! They are experts in doing this! I booked a holiday that was meant to be 290 GBP per person, ended up being 380GBP pp after hidden costs. Those peops really annoy me. Did you know the lady had difficulty booking my holiday and after giving her my card details wanted my online credit card bank verification number to which I said, are you kidding me - the banks specifically say don't share it with anyone. To which she then replied, I can use it now and you can quickly then log in and change it. Why would I want to change it just for her difficulty? And what an extreme breach of security request!
So, IceLolly - if you are reading this thread - shame on you! And train up your staff properly.

Agreed. I've been looking at flights on kayak and skyscanner. They seem to direct you mostly to opodo and edreams. You go through to these and they say "Oh sorry the price has changed." (by over £100 in one case). But you refresh the search on kayak or skyscanner and the cheaper price is still showing. It just seems like they're lying.0
