For example you can select to depart from "London all", or arrive at "New York all" - but I'm more than willing to travel within the UK to whichever airport is the cheapest, if the difference is significant enough. It would take absolutely forever to actually search fares for every airport!

    Skyscanner can do that.

My goodness, so they do! I was sure I'd checked them, but I must have been thinking of a different site! Thanks for the tip!

Lilligo is a good scraper, we saved £200 going to South America this year with them.
However it was a long stop over - 18 hours in Canada but it would have been longish with other carriers.
  • (Sorry as a new user you are not allowed to post with links. This is done to stop spammers clogging up the site. Please edit your message below to continue.) just google STA travel as I cant post links. Just paid £267.99 for a flight from Bangkok BKK to London LHR near Christmas (peak time) not bad.
  • Just out of interest, why is https://www.google.co.uk/flights/ not included in any of the cheap flight finding guides on here? It seems to be incredibly quick, have more options than other sites, and AFAIK is the only service to include official Ryanair data, rather than those other dodgy sites which do things like void your ticket. Plus, you can easily bookmark results, eg: http://goo.gl/DFKZFd - took me under a minute to find a £43 round trip inc taxes to Barcelona from London.

Perhaps it doesn't have enough airlines of there's another reason it's not listed, but seeing as it includes Ryanair, it seems a bit of an omission to not at least have it listed as an option.

Google flight search is good but a bit fiddly.
People imo prefer Skyscanner because the bar charts are easy to read.
I do have concerns regarding accuracy with certain combinations, however, overall, it gives you a good feel for the prices
  • Thing is, when you get a Ryanair result via SkyScanner, you book via Bravofly, then this this happens...

On the other hand, Ryanair's partnership with Google is official and you won't end up losing your flight. Which is why its omission from MSE's list surprised me.

For me, in addition to it being an official link, the "prices on a map" are the killer app for Google Flights. And it's just so darn quick!

Annoying that many of these do not show results for Cuba. Travel Supermarket accepts the enquiry but claims that there are no flights between London and Havana: really?

Apart from Skyscanner, which of these sites are best for finding economical ways to get to Cuba?

I tend to use Kayak to get the schedules then, if possible, book direct with the airline or a reputable agent (Expedia, Ebookers etc). I just don't trust my booking and money to third party sites that I've never heard of.

Speaking of which... has anyone used AirFastTickets? They are significantly (and suspiciously) cheaper for some flights I'm looking to book around SE Asia for later in the year. I just don't see how they can be so much cheaper when everyone else is within a few pounds of each other.

Do you have to phone them up to buy the tickets? If so it is a con, they advertise a price £150 cheaper than anyone else but when you phone them it is "sold out" (never existed) and they offer more expensive tickets.
I complained to the ASA about these but they said that it was a website so they couldn't do anything.
