Get off the flippin internet and go out and get a job, go and see your doctor, go and find somewhere to live in this other city you want to move to. Is your name really Student Phil by any chance?

Pills just mask the result of depression, and they don't deal with the issues that caused it in the first place.

Trust me, pills are not the answer. I suffered from clinical depression fore a large chunk of my 20's.

You're a jock.. I suprised you have time to get on the internet, what with getting drunk and battering your wife.

Basically you're too lazy to get a job.

So long as you loose your benefits then I don't see a problem.
Sadly I have to agree. The OP is twenty-two years old, plenty of time to decide on what he wants to do for the rest of his life. Perhaps losing his benefits might help him focus his mind on something.

I have conflicting thoughts on this

Part of me wants to berate the OP for being so lacklustre - It could easily be argued he neatly encapsulates the 'I want the moon on a stick but without any effort' culture that sadly too many people ascribe to these days

However, I also have some sympathy as I too had no idea what to do when I left uni. I ended up getting a series of lowly paid jobs in HR most of which I disliked. However I enjoyed working with people and the teams I was part of and over time got more experience and exposure to interesting aspects of the job. Fast forward 10 odd years and via several rather better jobs, I now find myself as HR director for a large media company. It certainly didn't happen overnight but I have found a niche that pays well and I now quite enjoy.

My point is you have to start somewhere. Otherwise you get nowhere.

I am prepared to do ANY job that I am capable of doing. I guess some people have the impression that I am waiting for this so called dream job. I did not say that at all. I am prepared to work any job, just to get money in, it'll improve my confidence and skills.
Well, there you have your answer, get yourself down to the Job Centre and apply for the first job you see. Sorted.

I have been applying for any jobs and will continue to do. I would apply to Maccy D's if there were jobs available. they are not, I've checked. But when there are, I will apply. Claiming JSA or working at MCD's.... what is more soul destroying? The former wins every time!
And there we have it. Rather claim dole than work.

All of the courses/appointments you are sent on whilst claiming JSA are completely useless, but if you dont attend, you can get sanctioned.
