There must be a right lot of runners off those plants every year!
I gave a lot of runners to a mate but incredibly he managed to kill them all. Dunno how, strawbs are pretty indestructible.
Last year was my first so I only got a few punnets.
Will I sell? Dunno, I can eat a lot of strawbs.
My garden is only 16 foot long on all sides (ie a square). up against the fence I have soft fruit bushes, the rest is strawberries planted in strips of gravel thats over sand.
I have last week planted 100 plants from aldi in my patented wash basket planters. I will post up some pics, but dont hold your breathFreedom is the freedom to say that 2+2 = 4 (George Orwell, 1984).

I bought 3 plants last year, 1 early, 1 main and 1 late. i took runners and I now have a raised bed full of plants which cost me about £4-£5 in total! Not for everyone as it means waiting a couple of years for a good crop but certainly a cheap way of doing it!0

Anyone ordered anything from Mr F?
I ordered the strawberries on Sat and didn't even get an email about dispatch yet. They say 3-5 days.. (obviously I know working day, but it will be 5 working days tomorrow and I still not heard).
Thanks0 -

I ordered strawberries on Friday and no news either.
They did 3 days to dispatch my last seed order when their website states seed orders are dispatched same day! It took 5 days from dispatch to arrive.0 -
I ordered this a couple of weeks ago and am very pleased with it:

All the plants arrived looking very healthy and I feel like it was a great deal, and even though I don't like El Santa's I got 5 other varieties that all look interesting.0
