I've used Parcel2Go about 8 times with various pickup points and have never had a problem. Its always DHL who collects and the price is great.
  • When I sold lots of bigger items on ebay I used them all the time, only downside was that you have to wait in all day for them to collect.

I like the way their automated system for checking on a possible failed pick up says you have to wait till 5.30pm has passed before contacting customer service about it and customer service closes at 5 or 5.15pm......very clever.

Used them about a dozen times then had 3 consecutive failed pick ups....appalling customer service, couldn’t care less attitude..took them to court and they settled beforehand. If you are willing to take the risk for a couple of pounds saving then good luck to you. Me, I would prefer a not to add to the grey hairs I’m already propagating.

Kevin..........on what basis were you going to take them to court?
  • Although Parcels2Go officially close at 5.15pm I find that they start diverting callers away at 5pm with endless telephone loops when you get to the front of the obligatory queue... If nothing goes wrong then they are ok - but I'm going to look at PayPerDrop next time I need to send something over 10kg

I quoted that we had a contract between us for the pick up...e.g. I pay my fee and wait in all day for the collection and they should collect....they didnt so I sued them for breach of contract. I calculated my hourly rate and an amount for costs...came to something like £145 in total. Was settled by them within days of receiving the court documents
  • the problem with parcels2go is that at peak time...yes xmas they dont arrange for collections as next day(24hour) so the hdnl network usually choose to carry over the colection..its parcels2go fault
  • I have used Parcel2go approx 4 times over the xmas period, all parcels were picked up as expected and on one occassion the DHL driver phoned me to say what time he was picking up.
Must say i have nothing to complain about with them.
I am trying payperdrop today and let you know how i get on.
Just signed up for an account with parcelforce, if you have a parcel or two per day the savings can be enormous compared with their post office rates, managed to get £8 for next day and £7.50 for 2-3 day, i think it gets revised after a few months and price reduces even more.

I've only ever used parcel2send for eBay deliveries and in the course of this year have shipped half a dozen heavy parcels to UK addresses, two parcels to France, one to Malta, and two to Italy. In every instance the collection went exactly as scheduled and delivery occurred without difficulty or delay. The only problem was the way Parcel Force upped its prices last summer, but I decided to stick with the eBay seller parcel2send because of reliability.

I used Parcel2go once (or should that be tried to) and will never use them again.
Waited at home for 2 days for no-one to show up for my item. Total waste of time. Complained and thankfully got my fees refunded.

I gave them a chance and used them for the first time despite warnings. lol. And sure enough they failed to turn up for a scheduled collection on Tuesday.

Furthermore there was no discount or credit given for this inconvenience. My item would've been delivered already had I used RM.
    I know nothing
