Well after a very busy week again I am ready to shake my wings and fly. I've written the list for this week and will start it this afternoon. Some things are already done. Had my haircut very nicely yesterday so that's my half hour sorted and also....shock horror.....went out last night for a change and a very kind colleague gave me a lift home just before I got hammered so am soaking up today with lots of juice and fluid and food. Next is a fish finger sandwich then its time to crack on at about 1pm.

Need to sort out some excess marmalade after I ran out of sterilised jars so need to sterilise some more, let them cool down and repot up in the new jars if this is ok?

What else - meeting some of my personal goals which is good. Oh yes just about to look for a cake recipe while the oven is on

Pigpen just a thought but could you not do your driving lessons through DLA...
    juliejim thats awful, big hugs.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Wanders in and sits down, hi folks

No chance of catching up with you all...

    Juliejim~hugs to you all

Pigpen~ start going up higher in the 'chain of command', the whole thing is just stupid to me.

Anwmum~get the lego out, go on you know you want to!!!

Right today is the day first I have flown since goodness knows when, between OH and myself, the whole house is hoovered, polished, rubbish out, all floors done, clothes either out for washing / folded/ or waiting ironing.

This includes the shower tray which I hate and the oven being cleaned.

OH has now been allowed out on his bike as a reward, says he is off to the H cafe!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    WM is still going.

Having spent 3 days this week at the Doctors, I only currently have 1 appointment for next week! so things are on the up.

It would seem my step mother 'knows all about type 2' (she is NOT medically qualified) and keep ringing up to tell me what I should / not be doing.....it is getting to me, I know she means well, but I think I may have to tell her to butt out in a nice way, thank goodness I don't live near her!!!

Had a tearful adopted grandson on the phone it seems his hamsters are fighting, so now they are in 2 cages, but he wants me to fly out to 'talk' to them as it seems in 7 year old logic they 'listen' to me!! so pointed out that I couldn't fly out, so the naughty hamster was brought in its cage to the phone and I had to tell it to behave, which I did, AGS is now happier, and said it listened to every word, and has promised to behave itself!:rotfl::rotfl:
(Edit:- AGS is approx. 7000 miles away)

Pigpen, sorry to hear you're having a torrid time of it, you're probably like me when I go to MIL and count down the hours till I'm home again.

    Vanilla - how very exciting!

Shysarah -sorry the !!!!!! aren't going to pay you. Life is very unfair at times

Kazwookie - the hamster story made me laugh.

DH, DS1 and DS2 are now watching Orient on welsh TV. The commentary is in Welsh which bizarrelyn hey are listening to. Men really puzzle me at times.

Just booked JLS and Olly Murs for Hylands Park as a thank you for DD1 who has been helping me lots this week. I'm accompanying her purely to get her home again afterwards;)

    Hello

I watched Saturday Kitchen in peace after taking boys to their activities, then I've been working hard for 1.5 hours and made big progress in the kitchen reorganising (again) and cleaning. Doing lots of laundry too including sorting out yesterdays. I think at some point I'm just going to have to say 'i'm not reorganising that kitchen again' as its taking me ages but no way I have it works. Laundry I'm hoping to get everything that is down here upstairs and away tonight, my back is going mad (it's been worse this week than when I am busy at meetings/dashing about) so hopefully the boys will be helpful. Took the dog out, really cold but enjoyed the fresh air

DPs just got his licence renewal reminder, £20 to update his phot an an extra £4.50 if he goes to the PO to have it checked :o crazy!!!

I've got about 15 minutes before I go for the boys so will spend that bimbling with a bin bag, must do a meal plan/budget plan this weekend x
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • ok, so I forgot about the list and did absolutly everything in kitchen,

    I'm now shattered, lol :p

I'm not lazy, just have long term mental health probs.
So this is an amaaaaaaaaazing achievement for me ! :T
