I like these HHCs - it's amazing what you can do when you set the timer - instead of thinking "it's not worth starting".

    Anyway .....

Caustic soda down WM pipe, and a pokey around with a wire hanger. Not sure it's done any good, however ........
Decluttered newspapers, magazines and other debris to the recycling bin
    Unpacked shopping
    Put away miscellaneous gibble
    Made Mr B's sandwich
Poked a bit more at the WM drain ............ I am walking away from that one!

Kettle on if anyone wants a cuppa.

Lemon juice? Never made marmalade but it helps with jam. Or orange pouring syrup (stir in a spot of whisky?).

used the juice of a VERY juicy lemon - and I've moved over to the preserver's year to discuss it there, althoughj I know there are a few jammers here.

What I OUGHT to go and do is make my bed. Flying is interrrupted as there are LOADS of GIRLS here and they have had a (yuk yuk yuk) chocolate fountain.
I ate a marshamllow unadulterated by chocolate ;)

Juliejim hope he finds something soon, HGV is specialist but sometimes easier to find when there are jobs going as there is a lot of specific recruitment firms and websites

I've just had a bit of a tiff with my OH due to money, he wants a welder for his new toy, a very very very expensive welder, he thinks it'll also help when it comes to getting mechanical work but he's a bit out of practise and it's another thing he's done 'part' courses in. To help/smooth things a little I've contacted a college or 3 about courses (all seem to start in September) and I've managed to get him a 0% for 13 months card. I'm still trying to get him to think about it reasonably when it comes to if he can afford it, get enough work to pay for it etc, see how things go. If all comes to all they have a good resale value I suppose.

Ended up almost doing his brothers application form for him. It's hard because he's always worked in construction (only 25) and just fell into jobs before until he was laid off about a year or so ago, so he's never had to do applications. Instead of just doing it for him I showed him how to go through the description of what they want and add it into his form. So fingers crossed he gets it, it's only a traineeship for 6 months to give skills then onto self employment but it's dry stone walling which is such an art form/skill! Be a great addition to his tree surgery business which isn't exactly thriving. Another motive is I think DP would enjoy learning and his brother can teach him :D haha

Right, not much else done this evening, been decluttering my sky plus box with programmes I wanted to see, emptying email boxes, form filling, booked a hotel for 22nd for the opticians visit, done a WM/TD switcheroo, emptied and refilled DW again.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Waving from page 33.

Been one heck of a day, starting with a blown out tyre just before I got on the motorway to work :eek: cue v late getting to work and things going further downhill from there.

Ended up £370 lighter :mad: on 2 new tyres, with work problems (unrelated) we were an hour late leaving tonight, was after 8pm when I got to Mum's. had to pick the kids up from JAM on the way, finally got home just after 9pm. Totally knackered, had a glass of red and a soak and am now off to bed having statrted to catch up with you all but can't keep my eyes open any longer just now.

The Godfather arrives tomorrow, I need to whiz round before we leave for swimming lessons to make the place presentable.

    Night all.
