I am just back from doctors. Have a referral but she was pretty sure that it is nothing to worry about. So I am feeling a lot happier now and am raring to go with some more flying.
I just seem to lurch from one problem to another so apologies for being so off the last week or so. As my BF says 'Life wasn't meant to be easy'. And loads of people are worse of then me.

mummyto5 Hugs, I hope you are getting plenty of rest still. You should be taking things easy for a while yet.

LW Huge hugs. I hope you can feel a bit better with your shortened list. We have really mizzy weather here which doesn't help either. We are all in need of Spring showing itself soon.

  • They are 6.

Thank you to everyone for your support.

It seems that this morning was an isolated incident (though not very nice) and dd is generally struggling to cope with this little girls disruptive behaviour in class. Dd doesn't like change and has an overly strong sense of what is acceptable behaviour (perhaps I'm too strict).

So I'm going to keep a close eye on the situation for now.

Right must tackle the ironing mountain due to dd2 having an accident when attempting to use the potty on her own on Saturday the bathroom is sparkling already!

    L-L

It's not an easy situation to cope with! Hugs to you and your DD!

My kids all went to a primary school with many children with 'problems'. Although it can be difficult there is a lot to be gained from mixing with many different children from homes where the norms and values are different ( tried to put that ethically!)

As long as the teacher is able to cope........ and support the other kids in the class....

I had words with a 5 yearold at school a few years ago - I had to tell her that swearing was not acceptable at school - she shrugged and said 'I'll just swear at 'ome them!'

Thanks Mrs B -- Fellow yellowbelly I see.. *waves*

Not born, not bred, and therefore probably not “acceptable” yet. :rotfl:

And as for your Molehill of a wool stash ………. Think I am probably in the SABLE department ……… when I eventually get it all into one place! :D

1 Step and One Step – my sincerest apologies. :embarasse

MoaM and Mummyto5 – hugs as and when needed

Mum to 5 – oh dear – your DSs are really are not being fair to you. I am hoping they learn all the valuable lessons you are teaching them before they become DHs or DPs. Perhaps you should show them some of the comments here so they see how kind you are actually being to them - rather than what some Flyladies would have you do.

Flying advice required to clean up my sink – it’s some sort of plastic I think – with a sort of rough texture. The one thing I seem to remember from the instructions (which I can’t find) is that I mustn’t use bleach on it – but it’s a light colour, and, apart from needing a good scrub anyway, is stained in some areas. Any tips?

I managed 15 minutes on the document folder, I knew I wouldn't manage half an hour. I put all my payslips in date order (OCD I know) and put everything else in the relevant section for when I get round to them. How long should I be keeping paperwork for? I have some things going back for what seems like an age.

I keep everything for 6 years, and the important things like p60s are kept indefinetly.

OH work stuff and tax stuff are being kept indefinetly but bank statements etc are kept for 6 years.
  • Wardrobe is finished!!:j:j:j

I can proudly say that I did 80% of it myself:D. OH and flat pack is not a good combination. He did try to help bless him but I had to ask him to stop after he put the drawer runners on the top of the drawer:eek::rotfl:. After that his job was to hold pieces:rotfl:
I now have to wait till tommorow when he is home to help me move it.
Now off to have a quick tidy in kids room, make cheese on toast for tea. I intend on getting kids to bed early this evening, Eastenders, Holby, Silent Witness ( how sad was last nights) & football!!! Bliss a night in front of the TV!
    Love & hugs. X
