Hello everybody,
Aussie....hope that you had a good day yesterday.
Glad that the Bermingham meet went well....would be up for one somewhere so long as there is a guarantee of no snow....so later on.
MonkeyV8....lovely dog.
Halight....hope that you have a good rest.
Kerry is here beside me tormenting Thunder...she wants to play and he wants to go asleep..am going to put her outside in a minute so that she can calm down if she doesn't stop barking.....good that our neighbours are too far away to hear her.
Cold here to-day...went to christening party of DGS2's (half) sister for a while, then off shopping with DD3, she wanted to buy a huge suitcase so that she can pack for Oz....she got one but none of the 6 pairs of trousers I tried on were right...too much material in the legs....made me look about 25 stone and 3ft 6 high so wouldn't try on any more, will need to recover before I do that again!
Had a big breakfast out late this morning so cooked no dinner, OH and I just picked out of fridge...not really a good idea as I could eat now!
Welcome to newbies....will get the names eventually...this is a lovely comfortable place to be!
WM and DW have both been in action to-day, washing arrayed around the house to dry.
NicLou....hugs to you, feel free to burn an ear off at any time if it helps.
Sleep well all

What a gorgeous, gorgeous dog Toby is. Look at him, trying so hard in those pics - "I AM a good boy, I can show you, look, I AM ... "
Dogs add so much to our lives, I would love to be able to own one again. Realistically I don't think it will happen, but I do sponsor a dog with the Dogs' Trust. (Barney the Springer, from Darlington Dogs' Trust)
My own dog in the 80s and early 90s was an Old English Sheepdog, ex rescue dog, and she was great, I think of her every day and I'm sure I always will.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

On those pictures he's just been washed as he stank after being in kennels. I knew he was very ribby, but hadn't realised just how thin he was until he was wet. He's had a good dinner and a roast bone, and I'm sure he'll put weight on as he stays here.
I could go on and on about him, but suffice to say that he's settled down really well (to our surprise!), is well behaved and is now snoozing upside down in his basket
T xx
Sounds like you are in love with him already. He looks like a wonderful doggy. My Molly still looks like a pup but in fact she is 8 this year. Well if he is asleep in his basket upside down he is here to stay then :T:T:TI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
