    We've got a new dog!!! :j

His name is Toby and we've been told he's 10. If he is, I'm the King of Russia; I've never seen a dog of that age bomb around so much! Our other dog managed to wear him out, but it took a while.

    Photos are here: http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv55/v8monkeyboy/Toby2311103.jpg

Oh my oh my oh my - he's gorgeous but then I have soft spot for collies!:j He certainly doesn't look 10 but then it's difficult to tell as he's white already around the muzzle. My nearly ten year old collie has a black muzzle and is definitely going grey:(

He looks like a puppy in that second picture.

    Enjoy him!

    Hi everyone!!

Bad stuff 1st!! DS2 ran into the back of someone on Friday teatime & it looks like my little car will be written off. He's not a bad lad & I know he feels dreadful about it but I could have done without it. Just as we were starting to turn things around following my return to full time. Luckily no-one was hurt which is the main thing.

Sounds like the Birmingham gang had a great time!! Plenty of drinks on the tables too according to the FB pics ;)

Would love to meet up soon. East Mids/S Yorks meet anyone? I missed yesterday but Paul Carrack was good!!

Lots of OS today for a change - had beef casserole for a change & it was delicious!! DGD1 came round to play for an hour whilst Mummy & Daddy got some work done!

Hugs to those in need & Halight look after yourself!! (You'll find me on FB too)

I know what you mean - our other collie (a red and white one) is 6 and has just got a grey eyebrow.

On those pictures he's just been washed as he stank after being in kennels. I knew he was very ribby, but hadn't realised just how thin he was until he was wet. He's had a good dinner and a roast bone, and I'm sure he'll put weight on as he stays here.

I could go on and on about him, but suffice to say that he's settled down really well (to our surprise!), is well behaved and is now snoozing upside down in his basket :D

I have spent the entire weekend watching the hills. I had 2 glasses of wine (look at me showing will power! I have another bottle in the fridge - OH had 2 glasses too, i don't have half bottle glasses!!)

In bed now as OH needs to be up at 5:45 so i intend to get out of bed then too and walk the pupster and do a work out aswell!! I'm going to be super skinny by summer time!

Cous cous for lunch tomorrow it's like a cuppa soup but cous cous so we shall test it out and see if it's any good, stew in the slow cooker ready for dinner.

OH might be working away this week, he finds out tomorrow. If he is i will be able to scrap the meal plan and live on jacket potatoes and our food will last an extra week! I will also get to watch what i want on telly, work out in the evenings and he will earn lots of money.

V8 - i love your new dog! i want him!! If i could i'd get rehome an older dog, but we won't be accepted by any rescues and OH couldn't take the heart break of only having a dog for a few years.

Just popping in to say a quick hi. Getting our bedroom carpets down tomorrow, and have had a few days of moving all the upstairs furniture down to the living room.
DH wasn't too happy. He took the carpets up only to realise that there was already underlay down. He insisted that there was none, and I ordered 2 rolls to come tomorrow! Now I have to pay to return them! Grrrrr!.
Well, at least dh and kids are upstairs on mattresses on the floor, and I am on the sofa with a glass of juice, some peanuts and the telly all to myself.
See you all in 2 days. Doubt if I will get time to check in tomorrow. Hope you are all well.
