Chopped off everyone before TTC, if you're still here let me know and I shall edit
We've had some weird reactions, OH is 10 years older than me so some of his friends don't want to have kids. Their reactions were a little strange, not the normal congratulations but more the "oh, err, (not sure how to react), that was unexpected". Also because I'm the youngest in work I've had some strange reactions from people that are in their 40's all with kids, saying things to me like "oh was it planned?" and "you're a bit young", or "that's earlier than you were planning isn't it?", or just "oh right erm...<pause> congratulations". I think in my profession it's expected that you'll have kids when you're in your 30's and get on with your career first. But to be honest I was ready to have kids two years ago I just had to wait for OH to finish uni. My career isn't going to nosedive just because I have children and if we left it 10 years OH would be almost 50, gosh that sounds scary.
All family members have been excited, I just wish my Grandad had still been around to tell as he would have been so pleased, but unfortunately he passed in November but I still think he's watching over us
Has anyone found their appetite decreased in the 2nd trimester? I don't seem anywhere near as hungry as I think I should be. Sometimes just having a bowl of cereal and some crumpets all day. But then again I work from home so I'm not especially active either.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Im the opposite, My appetite really went down until 16 weeks when I stopped being sick, now it's more back to normal (ie eating a lot lol), the main difference for me is I used to easily go without breakfast whereas now I have to eat first thing cos I'm absolutely ravenous!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I'm always starving too! Eating lots but trying to make sensible choices. Thanks for sorting the lists out ladies. I am half way eek!DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0

I had one of those too lily - "oooooh you can go through my baby's stuff and buy my moses basket and we can go baby shopping together now!" even though I've not seen her for over a year and they offered no support after Mil died, even though her husband and mine were supposed to be close... Erm, if I didn't have enough in common/of a relationship with you before you can damn well forget tring to add me to your little inner-mummy-sanctum now! (I hate going on fb and seeing the "friends" who literally are only "friends" because they're both mothers, rather than actually have a damn thing in common.) Rant over
Thanks for editing kerry
Re hunger, still getting the odd nausea episode and brushing my teeth last night made me sick (though it could be cos I ate too much to begin with!), but in between times I'm enjoying having a real appetite coming back, rather than just for breadsticks etc

This heat is making me move about like a sloth
all slow and "meh" :rotfl: trying to keep my fluids up is making toilet trips so frequent I considered setting up camp in there for the day
My EDD is Jan 10th:T

Just went for a grocery shop to Mr S, really should have eaten something or at least had something to drink before I went as when I was there things were starting to go fuzzy round the edges and I had to go sit down when we got to the till whoops. Have stuffed a choc muffin in my face and feel loads better so I think I was having a sugar crash. That accompanied by having an upset stomach this morning. I swear the cola from the pub last night made me poorly, it didn't taste quite right.
OH is most impressed today with my developing top half, I've got from just about a 32A to a proper 32A lol. I feel cheated somehow yet they seem miles bigger than they used to, except they haven't gone up a sizebooo.

Aww glad you're feeling better now. I'm still the same cup size but gone up from a 32 before pregnancy and now a 36, I think read somewhere its to do with your ribs expanding cos of making room below for baby as I certainly don't feel like I've gotten loads bigger round the middle (aside from my big baby bump obviously!)Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I am trying to resist organising a gender scan... I told DH's parents and sister that they could be there as my parents came to the early pregnancy one - but it turns out we're not going to be in their area for aaaaaages and I want to know NOW! :rotfl:0

I have never had a wider chest measurement.. though I do tend to increase massively in cup size.. I went from a 36D to a 36GG with Squeak.. and have gone F-GG cup with the last 2!! Good job I have big chunky cankles to counter the top heaviness!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
