I'm ok now but just so tired.

gosh hun, i get like that daily. it is horrible. i have to eat well when i stop shaking enough to be able to get somethign to eat. sunday was so bad tho i had to get to bed to lay down , as i thought ifi don't lay down i'll fall down.
What causes you to feel like it ? i've no idea why i feel like it tho.0 -
drop in blood sugar makes you feel dizzy and fainty.. coupled with the lower than usual BP .. Sequeena.. you need to eat more regularly.. not sweet stuff either that doesn't work it just makes it happen again sooner.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

I think pigpen is right. My appetite is almost non existant so I either rarely eat or have one big meal that I can't finish. OH got me some cherry lucozade which did help
Am eating a sandwich now so hopefully that will help.

Hi ladies,
Sorry Sequeena to hear about the fluid again, hope you rest up and as Pigpen says take care and eat well so you don't get woozy.
I find only on my way from work to home, that I get quite sore walking to the bus, weird it doesn't happen on my way in which is the same route...
As to maternity leave, I am taking 9 months, and depending on finances might stretch that a bit more, but saying that don't want my replacement pinching my job so as that's always a worry I may stick to the 9 months... what's the legalities on that by the way - ie; how could an employer wriggle out of taking someone back after mat leave?
My pram arrived yesterday as well as the moses basket mattress from Mothercare, very excited and nursery is coming together. Well, I say nursery I mean room full of stuff as we have no surfaces or shelves yet... We bought nursery furniture on the weekend from ebay locally and the lady we bought from also gave gave us a Maxi Cosi carry thingy, in cute cow print, I am sure that would have cost a fortune, plus a bag of boy clothes. So generous!:):)

How exciting sparkle! Sound like you have loads of stuff. I need to get my finger out sorting the spare room/nursery as it's still goingto double up as a spare room and I have loads of ideas of how to make it look nice but not too 'baby'.
Mat leave confuses me a little. Isnt there a difference when you only take SMP and not the additional unpaid part?0 -
sparkle- youre actually in a really good position returning from maternity leave. if you can afford to take the 12 months then i would. your manager cannot replace you if you chose to take the 12 months.
twilight- the only difference between the paid and unpaid part is.... the money. i do think you need to let your work know though if youre coming back just after the paid part.
the past few days bb has been doing somersaults, today i actually felt queasy because of it, kind of like motion sickness!!0 -
Tw1light I believe it's 36 weeks paid total, any time you take after that up to the 52 weeks you have to pay for yourself?
Anderson, it's very temptint to take a year I must admit, can I tell them 9 months for now do you think, and then decide if I will extend when I am already off? I am sure a lot of people end up doing this. It sounds better to say 9 months, and then if I decide to come back then I can, if I say a year now it sounds too long I think.
Great news that you can feel bubs better now, I can def first thing in the morning and almost always after food, he sleeps lots he he... protected for now by placenta but imagine next week kicks will appear as Monday will be 22 weeks...
Galvanizer see ya over on the main thread, I dip in when I can!
Scan piccie from last Friday - 20 weeks and 5 days at that time... little nose can be seen I think?
Sonographer said at 20 weeks+5 he is 20 week growth and this is normal, anyone else had this? Slightly worried as it's almost a week behind, but she wasn't concerned...:):)
