My bump tends to wake up and start kicking when I'm trying to do something that I really don't need distracting from, like an important meeting.... Also seem to get a kicked when I'm trying to get to sleep, so overall it just waits until the most inconvenient moment :)

Managed to pick up the free nappies from Asda just before the vouchers expired! Yay! Sainsbury were out of Bounty packs though, has anyone picked up the second pack yet? What exciting things are in it this time?

Just saw your message - I'm guessing a boy...

That's great news Toniq, really pleased for you.

I'm getting really excited about my scan tomorrow too, have to wait until 3.30 so it's going to be a long day! Not sure if I'll be able to get much useful work done beforehand. When's yours Mozzyc?

Janninew, how are you doing today? So sorry to hear about your cat x

I'm feeling a little better today thank you. Took my cat to the vets last night to be cremated. The vet had a look at her (I had to leave the room) and she is pretty certain she was hit by a car. I will be glad to get her ashes back and put her next to her brother.

Lots of scans happening or coming up, my 20 week scan is this Monday and I'll be 20+3 by then, very excited, but nervous as well. Congrats Toniq on your little girl, we are staying team yellow, my hubby wants to know, but I want the surprise.

I'm having a slight problem and wonder if any of you ladies are having the same. Every night before bed I have a big bowl of cereal, but I seem to be waking up at 5.00am feeling really hungry, so hungry that I then start to feel sick. Not sure if this is just part of being pregnant or it means I'm not eating enough. I have breakfast, dinner and tea, then cereal at night and snacks in between meals, but maybe I'm just not eating enough!

Was really interesting to read about the different theories on sickness vs. sex of baby. I guess there's no real way to predict - roll on Friday so I can find out what mine is! hats off to those who want a surprise - I am far too impatient not to want to know. Also, in India, they are legally not permitted to tell you whether it's a boy or a girl so it's quite a novelty to me to be able to find out.

I was a bit naughty yesterday and had half a glass of champagne to celebrate the exchange of contracts on our very first house! I felt guilty but the doc did say a glass or two over the whole pregnancy doesn't matter and it was a celebration!

Janine, so sorry about your cat. I hope you're feeling better now.

    Good luck to tomorrow's scannees!

ooh, that's what I had in my first pack, but then again, I got it directly from Bounty, as I never did receive a book.
Where is it you guys are getting your bounty vouchers from again, I need to let my midwife know that I never received one.

    Thanks!

Mozzy maybe you are getting confused, that is your second pack I think you are referring too. Your first pack (although this is where the confusion comes in as it is not really a pack) is the one the midwife gives to you to keep all your books in. You get a voucher in that for the second pack which can be picked up at sainsburys with a £5 voucher for there. The third pack is given to you on labour ward as far as i can remember. Correct me anybody if I am wrong.

The packs are all shown on the first info pack your midwife gives you.
