...... I'm so jealous, my mums got a leather one too which I lust after, its the right height at the back too so your head sinks into it rather than hitting the wall
My hubbies favourite habit on the strawbale sofa is to sit right in the middle of it, not on one cushion or the other so now if you sit on either side you are lopsided... MEN  now if I lie on it my bum sinks towards the floor
told him I want a chaise long too he says
'no'
right better check on the puppy he might need a cuddle or something
Take care all
ps - has anyone else got the best natural nails, after years of splitting they now look great except too scared to paint them as want non toxic nail polish :rotfl:

Morning everyone
Gillyx - are you one of "those" people who iron everything or like me and basically only iron hubby's shirts for work/going out and the very occasional item that actually does needs ironing. :rotfl:
I mostly iron about 7 items every Sunday and I'm all set
4annabella - Good to know you can check Boots offers. I'm also not buying anything until after my 22 week scan, but the offer is very much appreciated
Ro - That puppy looks so cute!
On the subject of sofa's, I love my sofa's (Barker and Stonehouse) I've had them 6 years and I had a repair on one of the reclining mechanisms and the bloke who came to fix it was surprised we've had them as long, as they look very new....... I'm sure once the beanie comes along, it will be a very different story. :rotfl:
Off to my consultant appointment this afternoon. Wonder if it will be helpful or just a bit waste of time. Will let you know laterTTC #3..........0 -
yummymummy sorry to hear you didnt get to see everything. At least your going back and seeing baby again:)
twigpig hope all goes ok with your appointment.
For the past couple of days i've been getting headaches. It comes and goes, i've been drinking more water so i'm not dehydrated. It's starting to make my eyes hurt as well. I've got a doctors appointment on Friday anyway so i might say when i'm there. My mum said it could be due to me having low blood pressure?0 -
Twigpig Everything I iron is for my OH, my flab stretches out my clothes so I don't need to iron them, the only thing I iron is my skinny jeans because they go baggy at the knees if I don't. I'm going home for a few days, so I want to iron my clothes so I look presentableThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I've been having them too, they told me I had low blood sugar levels, not sure if it's anything to do with that, the doctor told me it's probably migraines brought on by pregnancy. Mines are awful though, I need to lie in a dark room and basically not move. The pain is so intense I'm sick with it.The frontier is never somewhere else. Hello All,
Just been reading back and it seems to be all about exercise, ironing, and aches and pains. What exciting lives we lead! Can relate on the aches and pains, not doing any exercise as I didn't before beyond gentle walking and sciatica has put paid to that one. Can't relate to ironing as the last time I did some (one blouse) was 2006...
Feel really bloated and tight today, and am definitely losing what little waist I had before pg. Also need yet another new bra in a bigger size. Told DH that and he just grinned!!
Two successes this week, got my 20 week scan booked for 12 August, and also managed to find the heartbeat with the home doppler. Just lay there listening to it for ages!
Twigpig - hope the appointment wasn't a total waste of time!!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Hi all,
hope things are well. Gilly i have similar pains and have just been told by my consultant that it is normal and will get worse yay! however I would suggest not ironing, it can't be good for you.
Had another scan today which shows both are growing and moving well. They also opened their legs and showed us that we are having two little boys.
Feels a bit weird knowing that I am growing 2 penises and 4 testicles inside me. Never had boys in the family so feeling a bit apprehensive but mainly because all our name suggestions are girls and now we have to find not only one but two boys names we like.
At least this will keep be busy for a while.
Good luck to everyone else with their upcoming scans.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Back from my appointment.... it was 'ok'.
She talked about weight and how it causes some issues in measuring the baby, feeling the head etc, and the higher risk of infection if I need a C section. She offered to refer me to dietician, but I declined as I'm following Slimming World (well mostly, and I do go to class every week). She booked in a glucose test at 24/25 weeks and a growth scan at 34 weeks to help with measuring. Won't see the consultant again until 34 weeks now.
She also chased my bloods to get our result from our NT combined scan/blood test. We're 1 in 50,000 chance for downs, so at least we don't need to worry about that one any more
As a result of the reminder of my weight and eating, hubby won't let me eat beans on toast and is now insisting on making me chicken kiev with potatoes and peas.... jeez! :rotfl:
Kitten_pie - congrats on the twin boys :jTTC #3..........0 -
Eep, nearly outgrown this thread! Anyone else have a problem with Jr sleeping in awkward positions? They say to sleep on your left side but this just doesn't work. Last night I had JJ resting at my ribs!"Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."
