Hello, long time no "see". I'm sorry I got so bad about commenting on diaries.
Berlin should be great - never been there but OHs bro was there this summer and he had a great time!
It sounds like your flat is all cosy for Winter, I think there's something about the weather that just makes you want to hibernate!
I haven't logged onto MyFitnessPal in I don't know how long. OH does most of the cooking (it was either that or starve, I'm not talented in the kitchen!) and it's really hard to work out the calories when someone else does the cooking. Plus he believes in "man-size"portions. He made shephards pie the other night that could have served 4 people!
Anyway onwards and upwards.0 -
Hi Diary
Well went to Berlin last week and loved it. The weather was cold but dry, no wind or rain, meant it was nice to get out and about the city and see things. Saw all the touristy bits...checkpoint charlie etc, also went to the Zoo and lived out a lifelong dream of seeing a panda in real life
(yes I'm aware there are now two in Edinburgh zoo). We also went to a concentration camp...not the nocest place for obvious reasons. Most of out time was spent drinking hot mulled wine wandering around the Christmas Markets, sooo christmassy
Had a wee night out on Saturday and have spent the rest of the weekend not doing much. Its snowing now which I hate. Reminds me of all the sad crap from this time last year which I've spent all year trying to move onfrom. Man news theres nothing, I continue to meet guys who look like they wanna spew when they see me. Och well. Trying to not feel too lonely but its hard. Wish I didnt feel like that, most people I know who are in relationships are miserable anyway...Seeing my friends a lot and have lots of fun things lined up for the rest of the month
Off now to catch up, should really go get some xmas stuff but cant be bothered just now...0 -
P.s Cant believe its December! What a quick month! Think I may read my diary back0

OK scrap that!
I had a new username and all but forgot my password to login ao am back here now.
The past few months have been okay. Got into abit of debt with house stuff and spending my overdraft like it was 'real' money. However, as of this week I have paid almost all of it back. Just have £350 on a credit card but am waiting for a refund of about £200 something to go on there then I'll clear it.
I also have savings for the first time ever. I am saving to go travelling to South America and also for a few holidays this year...such a hard life eh?
Had a weekend in Amsterdam in March which was great fun, social life has been good, getting plenty of work, no real man news...ish...
I had stopped using this diary as thought people I knew were reading an felt a bit silly, but figure most people know about all the keek I put in here anyway so doesnt really matter.
Still have the usual diet/fitness woes! Am hoping to go on a beach holiday August/September and I have promised my self I will wear a bikini:eek:. So toning is a must. I got into running big time this year then hurt my leg but hoping to start again soon.
The weather up here has been pretty miserable...need some sun!
Well for May I am going to try stick to a strict budget, have a few night out planned so gotta be careful. I worked most of April but dont think I could manage that this month as was exhausting!
Oooh I'm going to Russia in June, just for a few days but the costs keep adding up every day for i t:o.0 -

Tried to phone about this refund I'm due, got through to voicemail so left my details and waiting on a call back.
Wont hold my breath.
I managed to reduce the cost of my home insurance after getting renewal quote through which was about £50 a year more. I'm now paying less than I did last year.
Have to cancel gym membership, only ever used the treadmill and havent been able to do that since mucking my leg up. Fugure if I miss the gym I will join one of those Pure Gym places where you dont have to sign up to a contract.
Was looking at my online banking and decided to transfer the 'odd money' to my credit card so paid £7.38 over. Kind of PAD type thing but wont join the thread incase I'm rubbish at updating it.
Not much else happening today, just having a lazy one
