I have my laptop back at last :j:j all fixed
. It cost £90  but I'm not worrying about it too much just now as another good thing happened today...
My little cat came home !!:j:j:)
Over two months she has been away for, I got a call from the Cat and Dog home saying she has been stalking a lady down the posh houses:rotfl:. Shes a bit skinnier but looks relatively well, has wolfed down a load of food and is now napping on the chair like she's never been away. Made an appointment for a check up at the vets on Wednesday, wish there was a way to find out whats she's been doing all summer....
I have spent the last of my holiday refund money on some new clothes and shoes (all basic stuff), also had to get some new trainers for work. Got some nice new food bowls for the cat too...really have to remind myself about this NSD stuff!!0 -
Just tried to wash the cat cos she's boggin...think she's gonna try run away again :rotfl:0

that's awesome news about the cat!! :j Sounds like she has had a grand old time!
My dog ran off once, had an overnight stay with a very nice lady. Think I have said before but we were mortified when we went to pick him up and she said he had made himself comfy on her sofa!!! :rotfl: Fortunately she thought it was hilarious!
Hope she settles back in oK and remember which side her bread is buttered0 -
Glad to hear your cat is back. :j
Sounds like my mum's two cats - ginger toms who just invite themselves into every house on the street and help themselves to something to eat. :rotfl:
My cats are house cats as they are pedigree and we live in a flat next to a busy road and a train line on the other side. Our plan is to buy a house with a nice garden and build an outdoor run so they can experience outside but with no risk of running away/being hurt - they are not streetwise at all!Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. New bedroom carpet fitted today, one step closer to home-ness0

New curtains bought and put up today
:j. Theyre for my bedroom and were in the clearance sale in Argos :money: the exact ones I'd wanted though.
My Dad came up to shorten my bedroom door as it wouldnt close with the new carpet. Also moved some furniture about and have started to spruce up some of the old furniture. Going to see if a lick of paint, varnish and maybe some new handles can give some new life to them. Have given my dressing table a mini makeover and very happy with it so far.
Started thinking about my living room, saw some lovely black wallpaper with glittery silver flowers. Would be nice for a feature wall but not sure what I'd do with the other walls. Hmmmm
In other news, took the cat for a check up, she has fleas  so got the treatment for her and the house. :doh:0
