Specs and Glasses.com terrible service - HELP!

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone had any updates regarding their transactions with this company? I ask because I ordered a pair of glasses about a week and half ago and have yet to hear anything. I understand that isn't particularly long to wait, but I'd like to know how likely I am to receive them in the near future...

Oh no........... i knew as soon as hit the confirm button on the order that the deal with them was probably too good to be true!!

HOw do you get in contact with them i have emailed and phoned but have no luck getting through or getting a reply.

How do i start to try and get the credit card payment back?

Any help would be appreciated

I'm the same as you but having read the reviews (something i should have down before ordering) i don't hold out much hope!!

No, nor do I. It's quite frustrating as I'm usually pretty vigilant in checking a company's credentials. Live and learn I guess...

Yeah, here's hoping someone can give us an update of how they are getting on. Wouldn't mind a copy of that PM if anyone would be kind enough to pass it on??

Hi guys - might be worth us all reporting the company to the MHRA:

The company claims to be regulated by the MHRA but isn't and I was asked to report it, but havent had a reply yet - you need to give details of your order when it was placed etc and any contact you have attempted with the company. Lets hope some bulk complaints might help?? Im clutching at straws now!!

Odd - Specsandglasses seem to be doing a roaring trade on e-bay selling spec cases etc etc trading in the last few days and all getting good ratings from the buyers.......................

Have also posted off a letter today to Specsandglasses, not that i expect any reply??
