    why are Lensway now charging 'from' £9.95 (bronze) for lenses and coatings when these were free before and are still advertised as such?

    Don't know if anyone else has spotted a possible problem - but yesterday I noticed that I couldn't view a basket on the Lensway site. And today I can't get onto the site at all.

    Am hoping it's just a temporary problem - but there's part of me wondering if we've been stung?

    Was that using your order number and e-mail address to track the order? If I try that is says my order doesn't exist, but if i log in using the normal log in page I *can* view it (with that order number) of my account page. Site's a bit weird, seems to need a bit of a tidy up.
    So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
    Hope sharing saves some pain.
  • Both pairs received from Lensway. Must say I'm very impressed. Shipping was speedy, the quality of the lens and the frame are excellent. Came with a soft case, hard case, cloth and little screwdriver set - very useful.

    Overall superb service and I will not hesitate to use them again. Thanks for the deal Martin!

    Today I can get in ok and see the order but no tracking number. Hoping they arrive ok.
  • Still haven't got mine, but glad to hear that they're turning up for others and everyone seems happy about them. I would have got them within the week from the optician but then I also would have paid £100+ more so mustn't grumble :D

    Have had an email from Lensway which explaisn why we're waiting a while and can't track our deliveries.

    'Thanks for your inquiry. Your package was posted on 8/29. Since you selected only Priority mail, no further tracking information is available. Please note that glasses are shipped from our optical lab in Vancouver, Canada; as such it can take 10-15 business days to arrive overseas.'

    Thanks that's good to know that extra bit of information :) I know priority mail was the cheapest option, but I think it's a little bit misleading for them to call it priority mail when there is no tracking and it takes a while, even if it does say Royal Mail. It's a bit odd isn't it?
