    Hi Eoin

I'm so pleased you have managed to sort things out and the plans are all back on xxx

Jojo... what complete t...ts some people are! I hope you manage to get something sorted for makeup and anything else lost in the break in.

As for me, I was told on Friday morning that I cannot stay at our wedding venue the night before as they now have an exclusive use wedding and, handily, cannot find any record of my requesting rooms. I'm not at all happy about it but managed to find somewhere that's only a short drive away (which is cheaper anyway) and my OH is paying for the wedding car as a wedding present to me so after a very stressful weekend I'm just chilling out with a large chocolate brownie and a glass of wine

Cheers to us January brides !!!

    Hi

We're treating Christmas as "normal" but have agreed with friends & family to a limit of £20 per gift but saying that, we've got another month after Christmas before the wedding.

    :o

  • Hey girls,

Well, I got the makeup back today! The police found everything (PHEW) and it was all in the box when I got the suitcase back! Such a relief!

V - did you resolve things with the venue? I'm still pretty shocked that they didn't honour your booking/let you know ages ago that you couldn't book. Not cool.

Eoin - ENJOY your hen! I loved mine so much I'm having another one (dinner) next week (GREEDY? MOI? :D)
Also, v glad to hear things are back on track with you and your OH. Any sneaky pics of the dress???!?!?!

I'm having my second fitting on Friday (two in a fortnight! Woo!)
Might be brave and post a pic after that...

    Hugs

Since my OH doesn't look on here, I can safely post a wee piccie from fitting two:

The jacket's not finished yet, but the dress is fitting well - and it's COMFY! Hurray!

It's about winning a makeover for your home while you're on honeymoon. Won't work for us, as we still rent, but might be nice for one of you? xx
