We're in for a painful few years as LABOURS MESS is rectified.
If you really believe that the GLOBAL economic issues we all face a down to 'LABOURS MESS', then you really shouldn't be allowed to cast your vote in the first place.

Far too many uneducated people assumed, the same as you have...that is the reason this sorry excuse for a government managed to grab power.

I am lucky where I have a salary at a level where no matter what taxes increase, or how much inflation or interest rates go up, my lifestyle will not alter.

Of course the Global economic crisis is global - clue's in the name!!

However the F** off great big budget defecit is nothing to do with global economics - it's everything to do with the previous labour government spending more than it brought in! A lot of that money spend providing public sector employment that was simply not needed (AKA buying votes until the bubble burst!).

I suspect you don't earn a salary that means your lifestyle won't be effected (because we're all effected) I suspect it's more likely you're a workshy benefit claimer that's going to lose his big house and JSA!!

From your obvious sparkling intellect and vocabulary, it is clear you fit into that category.

I would rather be a well off 'tit', than a stupid poor person suchas yourself.

    1. No....i run a large part of a multi-national corporation, and my monthly income tax bill probably supports your lifesytle for most of the year.

    2. You would really be better off trying to demonstrate debating a point using facts rather than what you have read in the Daily Star.

    3. Judging by your last attempt at a post, it is becoming clearer all the time you have no idea what you are talking about.

I find it very funny that some of you are stamping your feet and having tantrums, but know nothing at all except what your next benefit claim will consist of. I would bet £20K that most of you are family people that live in 3 bed semi's with a garage, and have the notion that you are somehow 'middle-class'.
Also, i will suggest, that to even give the tiniest indication of intelligence, you could attempt to construct your arguments without swearing, as whatever you say, it just re-enforces the notion you are a remedial.

Unfortunately not. If i was i would be even better off. This would also mean i would be funding most of you lot even more than i am now.
You made me laugh with your comment though, as it is clear you understand nothing of the financial system in this country either.

Regardless of how high petrol prices will go, people will still pay it and use their car just as much as they did when petrol was only a few shillings per litre. It now costs me £160 a month to keep my car filled with juice. Car is a luxury people would rather not sacrifice despite the increasing costs.

Petrol combined with insurance, tax, maintenance etc is more than what I pay for rent each month but still wouldn't trade it for public transport.

Maybe you would if it was reliable and better value.
I get the train in to Kings Cross everyday, and its expensive (£60+ return and £6 to park the car per day). If it was both good value and cheaper it would be great. The problem is, i am a captive audience.
If i went in the car, i would spend £20-35 per day in fuel, £15-20 to park, congestion charges and it would also be much slower.

Pray do indulge us with your assessment of the financial system in this country so that we might amuse ourselves a little longer on the subject of how one parus major so magnificently might have risen to within sight of the top of the dung heap if not the mountain ...

Expressions like 'paying off the nation's credit card' are just stupid.

Personally, I think that the comparison is quite good, as it hopefully will make people more aware that money that a country spends has to either be saved up before hand or be borrowed and then paid back.

There are a lot of people who seem to be very fond of going on about what they are 'entitled' to, or saying that money should be spent on this that or the other, without any thought as to where that money is going to come from.

The majority of the population seems to be oblivious to that fact that the country needs to manage its budget in fundamentally the same way as an indivudual household does.

People may say they weren't asked about it or didn't sign up to anything, but it's more that likely that the will have taken advantage of the NHS, the education system etc, and wil lexpect child benefit, a state retirement pension etc...

If you don't agree with the way the country is being run or your taxes are being spent then do something about it.
