What a great thread [thanks Frugal]

I have bought my sweet peas and tomato seeds, also planning total house redecoration and on the look out for cheap paint!

Id be careful buying cheap paint cos sometimes it doesnt cover properly and you have to give it 2 coats which work out time consuming and more paint...........= more money !!! false economy I think.....

I try to go for dulux and get it from B&Q at a very reasonable price when on offer, better qaulity paint which covers well and usually only need one coat......:D works out cheaper... good luck with it.....

    hi everyone:wave:,
My plans for spring involve decluttering the house, and hopefully gaining a few pounds in the process. Have already started on the bookshelves and plan to do more but the main declutter will happen later in the month when i have a week off from work.
Hubbie is already starting to plant /tidy the allotments and gardens.
hope to have decorated the upstairs and have a clutter free house by summer so i can sit and enjoy the garden and wildlife.:)

Whoop Whoop Its February so Planning for Spring can really take off now as its just around the corner :j

I got a T&M seed catalogue today :D Guess what I shall be doing tonight? Altho I must be restrained as I want to use the flower beds for messy veg gardening this year! Its going to be one big mish mash of veg and wildlife flowers - must remember to plant Calendula which will help with the veggies and I can make nice face creams from the petals :)

I raked up all the leaves on my front lawn in order to let the Snowdrop shoots peep through. I emptied a dead pot plant into the Garden Bin and planted some violas I bought in November that have been sitting on the back step since then. Ran out of compost but Dad has some left so will ask him for some tommorow. He has dementia so my Aunt and I did his and Mums pots last year. Watered all my pots outside and in.
A bit sad as I am having to put house up for sale as OH and I are seperated so need to split things now. So this will b e my last year of snowdrops that belonged to OH'S grandparents who lived here before us ( 26 years ago) However I am going to dig up some of the snowdrops when they go over to put in my sisters and parents gardens.
Dried 2 loads of washing too.
If you don't already know, you move snowdrop's 'in the green' which mean's any time now, even if their flowering, hth, and how about putting some in a pot to keep for yourself?

I have also been outside this afternoon. Cleaned up after the dogs, moved some plant pots about. Discovered loads of new shoots on diff plants and bulbs coming thru. We only moved here at beginning of June last year so don't really know what is in the garden. We are renting so it is a inherited garden. and I need to look at what I need to change to make it more my garden
