  • Thanks gaspode38 for the pay-pal help! :-)

Will be logging back onto Vivatic when I get home later (unfortunately the work pc doesn't let us get onto the site, so can't do it at lunchtime which is a shame).

Hopefully will be able to get it up to £10 tonight!

    well well well, guess what?
I signed up last week and started to doing surveys. I get screened out of a lot of their surveys part way through.
Today there was a survey from Sheffield University about quality of life. I started doing this survey and part way through I was screened out again. This seemed very odd to me because I had passed the demographics stage and was some way through the questions when it happened.
Luckily, I took note of the professor in Sheffield Uni who this survey is being hosted for as his email address was on the first page of the surveyu. I sent him an email and explained the incident and that I was screened out. He was very surprised and apologised. He said they had already paid the company in advance and there should be no screen outs for this survey as they are interested in all responses. He said he will contact the company hosting the survey and he offered to scrap my responses from the database.

I don't have a problem with them using my data as this professor sounded genuinely decent. But my suspicions were confirmed that the company is screening out some people while retaining their data without paying. This maximises their own profit.

So much for vivatic and their integrity.
  • That's strange, I just finished that survey and once past the initial demographics it was all preferences and no reason / opportunity that I could see for screening out.

Do people actually get paid for the 85p surveys? That's the 3rd or 4th I've done and yet to see any money from them, I've got the codes for the last few I've done but don't know if it's worth e-mailing about - I haven't had any response to my last e-mail complaining about being incorrectly screened out for apparently giving the wrong age. Someone did post that they'd had a response and would be credited for that same survey, I wonder if they followed through on that promise?

Requested a payment today as got over £10, yesterday I didn't get any surveys which was a shame, today I only had the option of 1 company but got 4 85p surveys - and they got added to my balance straight away.

Even though my account balance was £11.25, it would only make a payout of £10, and then takes a 20p pay-pal fee. It just says pending at the moment, so may have to wait til next week for it go actually pay out judging by previous comments about Monday request, Thurs pay...

But here's hoping :-) I only did my first survey on Saturday so if I have made £9.80 since then, and actually do get paid it, I will be very pleased.

Will keep checking back and doing more surveys and see how it goes.

Just checked back in again - it has a line now saying "Payment due 28th April" which is a lot later than I thought it would be but oh well!

Hmm well I did the Sheffield Uni survey and at first I got through the demographic questions but stupidly managed to miss ticking a choice on the example question - and I got thrown out. Went back in again and got the same survey so I went through and ticked the example question and then it let me do the whole survey no problems. Perhaps it didn't screen you out but just you missed the example question like I did the first time?

I also completed that survey and others yet they still haven't paid me for them, thats 3 in 2 days and still no payment. They are the 85p ones, whats the point in doing them if they dont bother to credit your account. Does anyone know if they actually do credit them at the end of the month as it says they do if you are not paid straight away.

I certainly was screened out and have not been paid. It was some way through the survey too. I didn't miss the example question because I was already passed that stage.

Anyone else not seeing any of the £1 surveys, i've been stuck on £9 since Saturday.
(the 85p surveys seem more hassle than they worth)
  • I've only seen 85p ones up the last couple of days as well, still not had any money through for the ones I've completed
  • The 85p surveys are okay - some of them are really quick, and do 2 of them and it'll at least get you over the £10 so you can request a payout djkarl :-)
